Love that pic :)

Don't worry, I'll let you know if I see any suspected bean counter or PR monkeys hanging around. So far they aren't even running blue yet today. Don't know if it's usual for this time of day/week or an attempt to control when the ride happens.

Will do. I'm waiting for Diamondback at the moment but when I get back over, I'll update if anything is new.

Finally standing in line long enough to bother taking my phone out of the hard case to take a pic of my nails.

Edited: 12:40, they're running both trains now, line is just to the entrance with no extra queues open, so five minute approximate wait.

That is some dedication right there.

Running only one side is not to control when the landmark ride will be.

They typically don't run both sides on slow days or in the mornings. This prevents wear and tear on one side of the ride while the line is still manageable. Once it gets busier they let them both loose. There is a schedule to the planned down time as I have seen either side down early on random days, but I do not know what that schedule is.

I finally overcame my sports anxiety and kicked a ball to fight cancer. When I was registering, the young woman at the registration table noticed my nails and when I told her why I did them she said "Don needs to see these!"

Haven't seen him in the park at all today tho, and still nothing unusual going on at The Racer. Consistently a five minute or less wait. I've found a renewed appreciation for the little coaster as much as I've ridden the past three days.

Well, I'm probably going to do a couple more rides after the 5:00 Cirque Imagine show but then I'm going to have to give up on being here for it. Three days at the park in a row is my limit, and I sure can't manage 12 hours at the park today.

If anyone here is at the park tomorrow and/or over the weekend, keep us updated. I'll have to live it vicariously. Good luck!

Edited: if anyone wants to get a bunch of rides in tonight, it's down to a walk-on now

The questions that comes to my mind are: "What other coasters have had 100 million riders, if any?" and "What other coasters are even close to getting there?"

Possibly some of the ones in this photo gallery, but I don't know if anyone was keeping records:

Since some have 50 years on Racer for age, you would certainly think they'd have managed more rides.

So now my war with myself begins. If it doesn't happen until Saturday, especially later in the day, I'm probably going to end up back at the park (I wanted to go to Dinos After Dark anyway). If it is today, the way my body feels after the past three days is barely going to keep me home (plus I told my husband last night not to "let" me go today)

WKRC just announced that a "record was broken" at Kings Island.

I wish I could copy the link. If you're at Kings Island you ought to go now.

Congrats Racer and Kings Island on your milestone! I'm still very excited even though I'm not there!

P.S. Go Charley, go! :)

Wow! I'm jealous!

They probably should have publicized this in-park, too. I know no one riding yesterday seemed to know it was coming up at all, and the lines were really short most of the day, too.
