IndyGuy4KI Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Mean Streak is a rough coaster but not as bad as El Toro. Rough and violent are two different things. El Toro is violent. It is not rough. Son of Beast was rough, it was not violent. Everyone has their own definition of rough/violent as well. I remember my wife coming back in tears after riding SOB with the new trains. It was to violent for her, I thought it was just to rough. 2 Quote
bengals fan Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 I rode Mean Streak one time and never again. I like most woodies but that is not one . Quote
OleShawn Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 I loved Blue Streak, and thought Mean Streak was rough. Prob the roughest wooden I have been on, including Thunderhead. Then again Thunderhead is worth it. Quote
Hank Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Opinions, opinions, opinions. We have been down this very road before - many times. 2 Quote
OleShawn Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 I didnt think the road was that bumpy. lol Quote
LoraX Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 I don't find Mean Streak to be a bad ride at all. I think it's a decent coaster. During Coastermania, Tony joked that they had the water challenge just to get people to ride it. It is far less rough than many coasters that I love like El Toro and The Boss. Timberwolf at Worlds of Fun was the most violent woodie I have ever rode. I doubt I will ride it again. It gave me a migraine. Son of Beast was far more violent than Mean Streak, too. Blue Streak is a lot of fun, great air time. 1 Quote
AZ Kinda Guy Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Mean Squeak blows. Racer is worse though. 1 Quote
Kat Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 I have never been on Mean Streak so I have no opinion but perhaps I will ride it in the front row on the 20th when I go up there 1 Quote
