WindingSon Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Does anyone know if there is a maximum height on this ride? I am 6'3" and I've been thinking about trying this ride, but I worry that I am simply too tall to ride. In lieu of embarrassment, I chicken out trying it when I'm in the park. I tried The Bat at Lagoon (in Utah) back in 2010 and I fit just fine, and they are similar rides. Any help would be appreciated. Quote
Guest dtk1376 Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Max height is 6'6, you are good to go! Quote
DontWantToWait42mar0 Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Max height is 6'6, you are good to go! Unless it changed this year, it's shorter than that. Quote

Guest dtk1376 Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 If that's the case, they need to update the description on the website... Quote
The Interpreter Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 The website may be correct. In years past, Drop Tower had the same height maximum as Flying Ace Aerial Chase. Quote
WindingSon Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 Ah, I barely squished into Drop Tower. Sounds like I can make it work though. Might give it a shot. Thanks. 1 Quote
TTD-120-420 Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 I am 6'3" and I have been on it recently. 2 Quote
KIfan73 Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 I'm 6'4" and I've rode it a few times without problems. It's actually a really good ride. It would have made a nice addition to the "regular" side of the park, except for it's low capacity. 2 Quote
homestar92 Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 It might be tight, but at 6'3", it can be made to work. My dad is that height, and he has ridden Silver Streak at Canada's Wonderland, which is, for all intents and purposes, basically the same ride. Though it was a tight fit. If you are at all worried, you can go up the exit and ask to test one of the seats before spending your time waiting in line. This is true for all rides (or at least all coasters) that lack a test seat. 2 Quote
purdude86 Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 I'm between 6'3 and 6'4 and fit on it. the biggest problem I've had is the close proximity of the seats in front. my I can easily kick the seat in front of me without even having to lift my leg very much, but fit alright into my seat itself. 1 Quote
thoe124 Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Im about 6 feet. I fit with lots of room. You should be fine. Quote
