CoasterMyths79
I thought this would be a great topic to discuss cool Kings Island related Christmas presents and gifts for the season!
Magenta Lizard
It's not KI specifically but I saw this for sale at Tuesday Morning: Great gift for a coaster enthusiast.
Coasterama
I think a $24,000,000 B&M Invert would make a fantastic Christmas Present ~Coasterama, who better start looking for a very, very big tree.
freaks76
My wife bought me a platinum pass. Didn't go wrong there. Now, if I could just get her to ride anything...........
kingsislandfan1972
The replica of the Diamonback model that actually moves would make a great Kings Island present, I have seen it in the park being sold before, I would love to have a model of The Beast that has the tunnels and the carts move, I dont know if it actually exists, but if it did, I would definitly buy it in a heartbeat.

Magenta Lizard
Models of Face/Off and Delirium are currently being offered on Craigslist. I'm tempted to buy Delirium and wrap it in Christmas lights since I donated my tree to Goodwill last month and haven't gotten a new one yet. It's three feet tall! Kings Island Face-Off Roller Coaster Model 195 http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/atq/4776484517.html Kings Island Delirium Model 150 http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/atq/4776485173.html
freaks76
^Donating you tree is awesome! We've was talking about getting a new tree this year, which didn't happen. That had never crossed my mind. We give 90% of our kid's outgrown clothes, among other things, to a local church here at home. Now I know what to do with this one when it's time for it to come down. Thank's for the idea! EDIT: Just checked out those models. They would be neat as heck to have. If I found one of King Cobra, i'd be all over it.
CoasterMyths79
Anyone else find anything? What is your Kings Island-related best gift you've ever gotten?
Thrill_Biscuit
Some local antique shops might have vintage Kings Island ashtrays (not kidding), plates, cups, Eiffel Tower models, etc. I found a couple of plates once at an antique store in west Hamilton (I think it has since closed down), but it was a neat thing to have there for awhile. There was speculation that the "plates" were themselves ashtrays, but I thought they were too nice for that (they had tiny, blue-and-white tilework around the edges, a painting of the Eiffel Tower, Royal Fountains and the Sky Ride on the front, and the back was painted gold). I've since lost it and another one like it. E-Bay has some stuff as well.
freaks76
Anyone ever seen a King Cobra shirt? I've seen some "aftermarket" shirts, somewhere, but haven't found any originals. If they even exist.
Magenta Lizard
I'm sure they have to have existed, but no, I don't remember seeing one for sale (and for a few months, I was looking on eBay for coaster shirts all the time). But looking for one online just now found this article from last year about gifts for coaster enthusiasts: http://www.coaster101.com/2013/12/02/gift-guide-coaster-enthusiasts-2013/
kingsislandfan1972
I found a cool Phantom Theater Shirt at Cincyshirts.com, all Phantom Theater fans should get one, I honestly do'nt remember if they were sold in the park or not. I would definitly buy one.
Magenta Lizard
Anything made from this fabric, or if the person you're gifting to sews herself or himself, a yard or two of the fabric itself: http://www.ttfabrics.com/fabric/roller-coaster/ Just bought some for myself. It wasn't out yet when I was looking for coaster-themed fabric earlier this summer.

That is a pretty awesome site, A Son of Beast shirt would be nice, I should buy one, and then wear it next to the Son of Beast gravestone in the Banshee Line, as a sign of respect.
Tanna
I'm sure they have to have existed, but no, I don't remember seeing one for sale (and for a few months, I was looking on eBay for coaster shirts all the time). But looking for one online just now found this article from last year about gifts for coaster enthusiasts: http://www.coaster101.com/2013/12/02/gift-guide-coaster-enthusiasts-2013/ That is cool. Makes me wonder if I could paint a similar theme onto a tie. Yes. A hand painted tie. My niece in Toledo is broke, needs an Etsy idea, and we are bringing them back with a purpose. (I think the best KI gift is a season pass, personally.)
Magenta Lizard
Somebody is selling a large Nicktoons sign from KI, for those of you who liked that era best: http://m.ebay.com/itm/231413662181?nav=SEARCH And I can't believe they pressed this album, but i can't buy a DVD of Cirque Imagine *grumble grumble* http://m.ebay.com/itm/331405729444?nav=SEARCH I wonder if it has the song I remember from the shows of my childhood that included the line "and I have to go to the BATHROOM!"
Magenta Lizard
Christmas may be over for this winter, but this would be a neat toy for the mechanically minded coaster enthusiast in your life. And it's on sale for the moment at only $10. http://www.sciplus.com/p/roller-coaster-kit_51813?trk_msg=do6r9fm1o854h4li8is1r62huo&trk_contact=87ja0av6646jpcjk6q991efpa8 I know I want one

Magenta Lizard
It says in the listing they bought them from the park. Since they all were just relisted yesterday, the Son of Beast sign, the Delirium model and the Face/Off model all seem to be listed by the same person. A person I am very jealous of
Magenta Lizard
I can think of a few people who might like to have this tape of Kings Island's Wurlitzer Band Organ. http://m.ebay.com/itm/111572807916?nav=SEARCH I'm very tempted myself except I'm not sure I have something that will play tapes anymore. I have an old boom box but I believe its tape playing days are over.
homestar92
Tape? I have the LP! (My phone is stupid at times, so just turn your head upside-down)
Magenta Lizard
That's great! I definitely don't have a turntable, or I probably would have bought the LP of Celebration! from KI's long-running show that was on eBay last month. Although I guess it shouldn't stop me, I own a Daekor Pot-Bellies* record I've never heard, and have no idea what it sounds like. *the stuffed bears and other animals that were ubiquitous in the 80s that everyone else seems to have forgotten. I wanted to start a fan site for them like a decade ago but just never quite got it together. I own a lot of them, and a little bit of the accessories. That's my first one, who went through my hospital stay with me when I had open heart surgery when I was four. In the picture, he's assisting me while I do "surgery" on a doll, learning what they were going to do to me. He still sleeps in my bed every night over thirty years later.
