VideoFromGeorge
Does Kings Island still do air shows? This one had it all - from planes doing tricks, to skydivers and even a hot air balloon. Simply amazing!
Thrill_Biscuit
Gold standard again, Geroge! I don't know if they do now, but almost every afternoon that summer (it seemed), from atop the "jungle gym" that was once part of the playground at Western Row Elementary (across from where my family friends lived), we used to watch the planes, parachutists and hot-air balloon do their thing out past the corn fields that are now the subdivisions of Mason. Once, the balloon came within about half a mile of us, and after it landed, it eerily "melted" into the corn. It was a sight! To see it all from within the park was 1,000 times cooler -- then, and now through the magic of your videos, now! Thank you!
Spectrum91
Thanks for sharing! The park doesn't have regularly scheduled airshows anymore - I imagine they'd be awfully expensive if that was the case. There's occasionally a special event that features one though.

Oldiesmann
Not only would it be quite expensive, I imagine local residents would complain about the noise from the planes, and there really isn't a lot of room to land a hot air balloon up there now (though there is a place on 741 near Springboro that does balloon tours).
