Free ticket with Pass Renewal

Has anyone used the free ticket with your season pass renewal.  We got vouchers for the Fast Lane but not for the free ticket.  The park said just to go to the ticket windows and say you want to use your free guest ticket.  Just wondering if anyone has ran into issues doing this.

We didn't get a voucher for the Fast Lane Plus, I was under the impression it was attached to the pass like the free ticket.

Even though I printed something that said it was a voucher for Fast Lane, it didn't have a code for scanning.

When I used my Fast Lane, all I did was present my season pass, they scanned that, and handed me my wristband. I didn't even get out my printed "voucher." Worked the same way at the ticket window to get my free bring-a-friend ticket.

We went to Kings Island two weeks ago and used the free ticket. They scanned the pass and then gave a paper ticket for the friend.

Thanks everyone.  I was trying to avoid having to go to the ticket windows but it looks like that is the case.

From my experience I haven't waited in the ticket window line more than 10 minutes. And that was when it was full, they're pretty fast.

Keep in mind the free ticket for renewals is only valid on Sundays.

Glad to know that's how it works. I logged into the payment portal tonight and went to print my Fast Lane ticket only to be presented with a message saying that the order didn't have any tickets to print (then why did it give me that option?). I plan to use mine tomorrow. I'm thinking the park might be busy due to the nice weather and I might as well use it since it didn't cost me anything.
