StXBomber Posted May 30, 2003 Posted May 30, 2003 I think it would be a good idea. All of us coaster designers could post our PKI ride re-creations and talk about our newest custom parks. Do you guys think this would be a good idea? Quote
Return_of_Yogi Posted May 31, 2003 Posted May 31, 2003 I'm all go for that. I've actually almost finished Action Zone and Coney Mall in my PKI recrecreation on RCT. I also have a good 4-5 UR, PKI recreations. Quote
StXBomber Posted May 31, 2003 Author Posted May 31, 2003 (edited) If Aaron does use this idea, I would gladly be mod of that part. I think my experience in the field makes me more than qualified (beta tester on URDC, have played 4 separate types coaster sims). And if anyone is willing to help me create the most accurate PKI RCT2 recreation, PM me. It is too big of a project for one person. (I have one, but it is very unaccurate. FoF has an extra barrel roll, TRTR is a coaster) Edited January 1, 1970 by StXBomber Quote
pki_guy Posted May 31, 2003 Posted May 31, 2003 That sounds awesome. I'm would be more than happy to help out. Quote
StXBomber Posted June 2, 2003 Author Posted June 2, 2003 So Aaron, we have 5 votes for yes, none for no. How do you like this idea? PM me and we can talk about it. Quote
Losing Streak Posted June 3, 2003 Posted June 3, 2003 TRTR is a coaster) Isn't there a top spin in RCT 2? Quote
StXBomber Posted June 3, 2003 Author Posted June 3, 2003 TRTR is a coaster) Isn't there a top spin in RCT 2? Yup. It was in RCT1 as well. I guess he made this re-creation before they announced that TRTR was a top spin. But the barrel roll at the end of FoF just isn't right! Quote
Losing Streak Posted June 3, 2003 Posted June 3, 2003 Yeah, I'd have to agree with the barrel roll being wrong. Can't you just take it out, barrel rolls are straight lines aren't they? Quote
StXBomber Posted June 3, 2003 Author Posted June 3, 2003 (edited) Well, I ask that Aaron (and the rest of the PKIU staff) considers this suggestion. And if you want to see some of my RCT2 parks, go here and here. Edited January 1, 1970 by Aaron Quote
docdude316 Posted June 3, 2003 Posted June 3, 2003 And if anyone is willing to help me create the most accurate PKI RCT2 recreation, PM me. It is too big of a project for one person. (I have one, but it is very unaccurate. FoF has an extra barrel roll, TRTR is a coaster) In two weeks once my university lets out I'd be glad to help in anyway possible. Just to let you know I'm still very much a novic e at RCT2 so I may not be able to help as much as you'd like. Also, I don't have the Wacky World's expansion, but I am considering getting it so that I don't have to build the Eiffel Tower myself in my own PKI recreation. Quote
PKIDelirium Posted June 4, 2003 Posted June 4, 2003 PM me if you need help with that recreation. I'm working on one of my own, but it's not going so good, but I ace at rct coasters Quote
StXBomber Posted June 4, 2003 Author Posted June 4, 2003 wait... DID THEY RELEASE WACKY WORLDS EARLY??? I thought it wasn't coming out until August!!! Quote
mars1825 Posted June 4, 2003 Posted June 4, 2003 wait... DID THEY RELEASE WACKY WORLDS EARLY??? I thought it wasn't coming out until August!!! No, it's already out now. It's not really worth the money to buy it either. Just some more pointless theming. Quote
StXBomber Posted June 5, 2003 Author Posted June 5, 2003 Any new ride types? Could there be a giant frisbee somewhere in there? *nudge nudge* Quote
docdude316 Posted June 5, 2003 Posted June 5, 2003 Any new ride types? Could there be a giant frisbee somewhere in there? *nudge nudge* As far as I heard there aren't any new flat rides. It's just a bucnh of new ride vehicles and a lot of theming. It doesn't seem like anything real big. Quote
Dane Posted June 5, 2003 Posted June 5, 2003 Yea I heard it was really bad. And not to get it. But knowing infogrames, there will be another expan. pack out soon. Quote
