Rivertown Rider
^ Thanks for putting that together. It wouldn't surprise me if Orion ends up doing even better numbers than Banshee capacity wise as both Leviathan and Fury have been very efficient the times I have ridden them. RMC really needs to figure out how to make their throughput much better. I know there is only so much they can do with their restraints but headliner coasters should be much more efficient than they are.
SonofBaconator
I found this online want wanted to share: Given its color scheme and height, I would've preferred it to be called "Dive 305" I know the giga dive is inevitable and one park will shell out the money to build it. Does $40-50 mil sound about right?
SonofBaconator
Since this post, Six Flags and Cedar Fair (now Six Flags) have added 4 Dive Coasters - Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger (2022), Iron Menace (2024), Wrath of Rakshasa (2025), and the upcoming Tormenta at Six Flags Over Texas (2026). I fully expect more parks are going to receive Dive Coasters between now and 2030. Will we be one of them? Considering how diverse Dive Coasters have become, I think it’s possible. Back in the mid-2000s, most were just variants of SheiKra at Busch Gardens - big drop, a couple inversions, more gimmicky. Now we’re seeing models with more inversions, some that are longer and more drawn out, some breaking 300 feet, some going beyond vertical, and even combinations of these. The range is widening, and with how popular they’ve become, it wouldn’t be surprising to see one in our future.
WoodVengeance
I could see Six Flags wanting to put B&M Dive Coasters at most, if not all of their top-performing parks. They're safe additions for any park that adds them, as the ride model is extremely popular with the general public. Six Flags parks with B&M Dive Coasters: Cedar Point: Valravn Canada's Wonderland: Yukon Striker Six Flags Fiesta Texas: Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger Dorney Park: Iron Menace Six Flags Great America: Wrath of Rakshasa Six Flags Over Texas: Tormenta Rampaging Run Top-performing Six Flags parks without a B&M Dive Coaster currently: Kings Island Kings Dominion (may not happen because of Griffon at BGW) Carowinds Knott's Berry Farm (may not happen because of land and Hangtime being marketed as their Dive Coaster) Six Flags Magic Mountain Six Flags Great Adventure Six Flags Over Georgia As for Kings Island specifically, I think a Dive Coaster is a definite possibility for our next coaster. Even though Valravn already exists at Cedar Point, I don't think that's going to be a deterrent for Kings Island. Both of the Six Flags Texas parks will have Dive Coasters next year, so the same could also happen with both of the Ohio Six Flags parks. Personally, I don't think Kings Island needs another B&M, but it makes sense from a business perspective. I should also add that with the current financial situation for Six Flags, I wouldn't expect the chain to build Dive Coasters as often as they used to. I would only expect 1 or maybe 2 more to be built by 2030.

If Kings Island is looking for a coaster model to go with, I'd much rather see something else. A wing, a tilt, a spinner, or even a regular inverting sit-down would do the trick IMO. Let's hope KI gets something that Cedar Point doesn't have.
