So I rode my 60th coaster yesterday, Kentucky Flyer,  and I ranked them.   I count dueling or racing coasters that have two different tracks as two coasters. I also consider Surf Dog a coaster because it does use gravity along with the motor. #53 was at a traveling carnival that was in the parking lot of River Falls Mall in Clarksville,  IN in the late 90's. If anyone remembers it or has pictures,  please post them because I can't find anything using google. Hopefully it isn't a figment of my imagination !

I have been on 394 so far. The last new coaster was Dragonflier at Dollywood.  96 wooden coasters.  My top 10 steel and wooden coasters are listed on my signature.  Since many people like these CP rides, I will add Steel Vengeance at #16 and Millennium Force at #21.  Also, The Beast is #11 on wooden.

@RustbucketIt's amazing how much ranking vary from person to person. I've been on 155 coasters and Steel Vengeance is at #1 comfortably with Lightning Rod next, Twisted Colossus and then Fury 325. Steel Vengeance is my new definition of the perfect coaster and blows me away.

Millennium Force loved by many is probably not in my top 25 steel and I also prefer Magnum and Maverick.

My favorite wooden is Voyage, but it's been over 5 years since I've been on it.

I agree.  These are really personal tastes after all.  I did not think Steel Vengeance as anything really special.  As I ride more, this may change. In fact, many coasters do. Maverick has been climbing.  There are very few coasters that take my breath away when I first ride them.  The last one was Lightning Rod. Before that, it was Fury 325.
