February 2, 20206 yr Kind of a random question, it appears as though the KI gold pass is $118.00 but the season pass is $122.00. Why would you ever buy a season pass when a gold pass is cheaper and gives you free parking but the season pass does not? Am i reading this wrong? If that is the case, Im not sure why the season pass is even there as it isnt a deal at all.
February 2, 20206 yr It was that way last year too. If you buy the gold at the right time of year its only $100 and gets you several extra months. On the same note why would anybody pay the $72 gate price plus $20 parking anymore or the 2 or 3 day passes? Over the years the passes have come down in price because the park knows it means people will spend more in park. I know I sure do.
February 2, 20206 yr There’s a perceived value associated with it too. It’s a great deal on Gold, isn’t it?
February 2, 20206 yr The $118 is a renewal price for Gold; regular passes are the same price new or renewed. Buying a single, new gold pass will be a few dollars more than a regular pass. The regular pass doesn't make sense for the vast majority of people when gold is available; it's primarily there to highlight how good of a value the gold pass is.
