gforce1994 Posted May 26, 2020 Posted May 26, 2020 So as I was digging into source materials for the series I’m writing, I came across images and diagrams for a Island Queen circa 1942. Looking more into it, the radical differences in the design and engineering, one can only conclude it was for a new steamboat. Anymore details about this design proposal? 2 1 Quote
gforce1994 Posted June 2, 2020 Author Posted June 2, 2020 So, the plans were designed by a local architect Paul G Hill, do survive and they are amazing. This will be fun to recreate. 2 Quote

gforce1994 Posted June 4, 2020 Author Posted June 4, 2020 @westcoaster, here’s a look at the hurricane deck and ballroom of the Queen. It would have been similar to the second ship, but expanded. 2 Quote
