KIBeast
Snapper, you're an idiot. "Its was a dumb decision to instal IJST bc its not going to be reliable. There much better off getting a small intense B&M thats small becasue whens the last time you went to Cedar Point and Raptor was down due to mechanical problems????" Last year Raptor had problems. Every coaster has down time every year. Maybe not extended down time, but down time none the less. The only part of IJ:ST that may become unreliable would be the effects, not the coaster itself. Premier coasters are highly reliable.
BoddaH1994
^ You see, that's where we differ. I got hurt at work and went to the emergency room. I had damanged my rotator cuff and was in a sling. The doctor specifically warned me not to ride coasters for a year because the forces and turbulance could cause sevear pain and damage. So anyway, since I went to the hopsital and all, I had the rest of the day off work... guess where I went...
KIBeast
Lucky you! Were you responding to my back surgery post? That was in another thread. I got confused. Anyway, I am pretty good now except for the fact that I'll have to live with some minor back discomfort for the rest of my life. Sometimes, I really get down in my back; especially when it is raining, or gets cold, or a shift in the weather from one extreme to the other. There are times when I have to leave work and just lay down for the rest of the day. But, with the good Lord willin' and the creek don't rise, I am back riding coasters and cherishing every moment because one day, it might come to the point when I can't ride any more. So, I am starting a new quest. To try and visit as many amusement parks as I can as long as I have the money and good health to do so. So far, I've only been to PKI, CP, and Camden Park (local). Next summer, I hope to go to Geauga Lake, Hersheypark, and maybe PKD. PKD is really the one I am wanting to go to because they have a diverse collection of coasters that I've never tried. Sorry, but my whole post was
BoddaH1994
ha... yeah, when I moderate, I sometimes have a couple of windows open, but this is the first time something like this has happened.
The-Snapper
Well thank YOU PKIBEAST for letting me know that Im an IDIOT! I wasnt aware of this maybe I should be like you and maybe go farther up PKI Butt! Have a good one! The Snapper
KIBeast
Dude, I'm not up PKI's butt. I actually prefer Cedar Point over PKI, at least for now. And, you're talking about reliability before it is even built. And, then you add that the Raptor doesn't break down. When you make comments like these, you have to expect someone to call you out on it.
The-Snapper
Ok so you can honestly say that You dont think IJST will have tons of problems? Legend Rider
Ok so you can honestly say that You dont think IJST will have tons of problems? Something about monkeys???? whos the BYOTCH NOW? LOL but i too think that the theming will go down quite quickly, it just seems like a PKI thing to happen... plus, i agree that it may experience lots of Down time, and that it doesnt seem that thrilling of a ride, nor is SoB, but hey, some love SoB, but not me, give me Vortex, FoF, Beast, recaR, Reptar, Top Gun, and Face/Off, you can keep SoB, Scooby's Nutbuster, "I-HJ", and Racer
AZ Kinda Guy
Interesting topic....The park geek in me says; IJ will be a great addition that will bring in and more than likely, please the masses. However, the coaster geek in me says; gee, Hydra is looking awfully nice....Anyone else share this opinion?
KIBeast
Um, what crew are you referring to? And, I know I never said anything about monkeys. Maybe the theming will go downhill after a couple of years, but not immediately like you seem to think. And no, I don't think it will have tons of problems. The only real problem I forsee is a timing of the effects with the coaster. I seriously doubt the effects will go bad right from the start. Not to mention that the coaster itself will be highly reliable. Premier has a pretty good reputation. AZ Kinda Guy: I would like to check out Hydra myself. Legend Rider
Hydra, SheiKra, Kingda Ka, does this seem to be the year of f cked up coaster names? I-HJ ----- 2005, it will be cool...

TheKlockster
I have been to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay three times. The whole park is African themed. They even have an animal part, with a monorail that goes over it.
