Crowds

Featured Replies

I think that it is least crowded on rainy days because most people think that the rides close down because of rain when they don't unless it storms or is really puttin it down.

In my opinion, there are always times when pki is crowded in the summer. The only times when it isn't, are on REALLY bad weather days and the last few weekdays in August/September. People are normally in school then, so the crowds are almost non-existant.

Oh- and the park is barely full right before closing at night. Guests normally leave for home about as much as an hour ahead of closing time.

Yaeh i never thought about AUG/Sep

I like going in the spring and fall. The cooler weather and fewer people. It also gives you a new ride experience on The Beast!

When ever the skys are gray get ready for a no wait day. Somes if it is raining I will go to park cause I know lines are short.

It is least crowded when there are the least amount of people in the park. Nothing else is certain.

That is also true.

There should be a option for "During School". I went to PKI about ten times during the school year. The park was literaly empty.

I think the Least crowded days going to PKI are days in may, usuaslly the weekends arn't to overwhelming and rainy days. People just quickly give up on the rain and head home. Some people are smart to stay and get to the rides faster after they re-open from the rain. I love when there are days when you can repeat rides and still ride all the rides you love at the same time.

I think the least crowded days are usually rainy days, when it's raining, we go to PKI! Of course when it isn't raining, we still go to PKI.

Even though the option wont be available this year, I went on Easter Sunday last year and there was nobody at the park! It was a very nice day out but the park was dead! The only time I waited the whole day was for the front seat of SOB, everything else was a total walk-on! I did Delirium 20 times that day, never having to wait once for it!

I did not know Ryan at that time last year, but little did I know, they were at the park as well! Ryan got this GREAT shot of Vortex. If this doesnt tell you how slow the park was that day, nothing will!!

If only the park was opened again this year for Easter, but Easter is in March this year! Always next year I guess.

I heard that the 4th of July is pretty dead. Is that true?

I went on the 4th once and it was so packed, I could hardly move! Seriously!!

Yeah the 4th of July the park is packed. I too went up for a couple hours last Easter and the park was dead. Notice in that shot that The Vortex had one of its trains not running and there was still no line! I believe that The Beast was also running only two of its three trains and still had no line.

Easter is always dead, at least for the first part of the day, one year they made that a bring a friend free day, and it still wasn't too bad.

That is a good time to go. I agree!

Most weekdays in June aren't too bad. It seems like right when July starts, that's when the park gets all the crowds.

I voted Opening Day. No one usualy cares about that, usualy a small crowd. Seriously, why on Earth would you put that as one of the choices?

I have never been up there on opening day but i plan to go this year.
