With their platinum you can bring coolers in the park

All guests to the Cedar Fair Schlitterbahn parks are allowed to bring coolers into the park, that's nothing new.  Has nothing to do with the pass or ticket you use to get in.

What is new is that they've implemented size restrictions, and of course they're subject to search at the gate just like your person, bags, etc.

As always, coolers are welcome at Schlitterbahn. To further increase safety and to provide faster and more efficient entry into the park, we are implementing additional security protocols and operational guidelines. Guests may bring coolers that are smaller than 26”L x 16”W x 16”D. Glass and alcohol are prohibited. Coolers are subject to search prior to entry.

You're using CW's 2023 Gold Pass pricing and benefits to make an assumption about their 2024 Gold Pass pricing and benefits in order to show the company is lying?

They have posted their 2020 for prices. They were lying. Goal pass right now is $99 parking is $85 and the upgrade is $100 that’s $284.   That’s the pricing if a person buys their season, pass with the usual early purchase a discount.

That’s  only $6 dollars less than the platinum was during the prime 2023 season.

Sure their advertising uses the wording “up to $65” but it’s just an outright lie. Cedar Fair loves to use sleazy disclaimers and such in their marketing.

I have come to the come to  the conclusion that this company is not run by honest people.    And honest company does not Paul bait and switch. They do not advertise discounts that really don’t in reality.  I know that my personal ethics would not allow me to work in the marketing department for this company.

In the fine print, they note that gold with all parks passport is valid for parking at all parks, including at Canada's Wonderland and Knott's Berry Farm. All park passport is also good for Early Entry at Cedar Point.

If you go in to purchase the pass at CW, parking is no longer an add-on choice after you select all parks passport.

Drink Coke, play again.

Passport includes parking, even on Gold at parks that do not otherwise include it.  So, it's $199 at Canada's Wonderland for a 2024 Platinum equivalent, plus taxes and fees.

A Cedar Fair L.P. (“Cedar Fair”) All Park Passport add-on, is only available for purchase when purchased with either a Gold Pass or Prestige Pass.  The All Park Passport grants the registered holder admission to any Cedar Fair amusement park or outdoor waterpark and use of all available rides (unless restricted by conditions that could ultimately prohibit someone from riding safely, including but not limited to height, weight, age, physical limitations such as pregnancy and heart conditions, or observed inappropriate behavior), shows and attractions on any regularly‑scheduled operating day of the season for which it was issued.  A Gold or Prestige Pass with the All Park Passport add-on is valid for only one visit per day, and a readmission hand stamp or pass scan is required for same-day re-entry. No re-entry is permitted on select days throughout the season. Passholders may only possess one valid season pass per season. A Gold or Prestige Pass with the All Park Passport add-on is valid for free parking at all parks; the registered Passholder must be in the vehicle. Fees for parking, food, merchandise, games, pay-per-experience attractions, concerts, and special events are not included unless specifically noted at the end of these terms and conditions on a park-by-park basis.

I guess I was wrong!    But my distrust for this company with their past lies made me pre dispositions to think this was a lie.

However, who ever set up the webpage did not do a good job. You would think they would include free parking in the list of perks, not the disclaimer.   Especially since parking wasn’t not previously included.

but I do wonder since it’s included in the disclaimer if they’re able to take the free parking away at some point.  They are selling a $290 platinum pass now for $199.

and if you buy it from Canada’s Wonderland that’s in Canadian dollars so it’s really about $160-170 American
