SonofBaconator Posted June 23, 2025 Posted June 23, 2025 …give it different coat of paint under the track. This was just a concept that @DustinTheNow made a while back that illustrates what I mean: I really like how Fury had the lime green and Valravn had that silver- it felt like a true next step in how coasters were supposed to be painted, but we unfortunately didn’t get that with Orion. Maybe when it’s due for a repaint in 10+ years 2 Quote
Losantiville Mining Co. Posted June 23, 2025 Posted June 23, 2025 It'd be nice to see this with the blue track and white/gray supports! I'd love for Kings Island to get a tri-tone paint scheme on one of their coasters, but I don't have faith that Six Flags would see it as a good expense. KI has a "high market penetration" so I can't see the company wanting to put much fun extra investment like that into the park. 1 Quote

Losantiville Mining Co. Posted October 26, 2025 Posted October 26, 2025 I wonder if there could be a universe where Orion would've been able to do some inversions. Maybe it could've even been the world's first giga with inversions (although I haven't looked to see if that didn't already exist). Of course it would need different trains and some modifications to its layout, but I think it could've worked. Imagine if that wave turn actually did a full 360, or if there were a corkscrew somewhere. It would've helped to fit more into the flight test storyline as well. Oh, and give it that red stripe on the bottom of the track! Quote
kingsislandfan1972 Posted October 26, 2025 Posted October 26, 2025 For a ride called "Orion" I'm still disappointed that the coaster wasn't tall enough to reach outer space! Quote
Skyrider Posted October 26, 2025 Posted October 26, 2025 I wish they would put tunnels like the Incredibles coaster at California Adventure with lighting effects that fit the Orion space theme. 2 Quote
