Six Flags St. Louis has officially entered a new era. The Missouri theme park unveiled its new Mid America Adventure name, logo and brand identity, months after Six Flags sold the property to Enchanted Parks in March. The rebranding gives the longtime regional destination a fresh identity as it begins its next chapter under new ownership.

I really like it! Glad they're still incorporating the Arch too (I think Six Flags was the first to introduce that?).

I personally think the new name is bland. Six Flags Mid America worked because Mid described the location in America. Now Mid comes first and makes it sound like the America Adventure is being described as mid. I think it would have been simpler to go with American Adventure or at the bottom of the sign they have the slogan "Gateway to Thrills" I actually really love that - so much that I'd make that the name of the park truth be told.

An important note for Enchanted Parks: the "Mid America" name should include a hyphen since it is describing the location of "Mid-America". Without the hyphen it gets opened up to being a completely separate word. Luckily they've included a star where the hyphen should be on the logo, it's just in plain text where they've left it out. My biggest criticism about the new logo is the inclusion of the stars on the left and water splashes on the right. I don't think they needed those at all.

I wonder what they're going to rename Hurricane Harbor to. I think the two HH locations and Schlitterbahn Galveston are the last "parks" that need to be renamed before 2027. (SG has the name "Galveston Island Waterpark" on its website, but that's an incredibly bland name that I can't see sticking around.) I could see the waterparks receiving WildWater Adventure-style names.
