How many season pass holders are going to Kings Island this weekend? The

I think I am heading down saterday and going to the park on sunday but my plans have not been finalized.

I think I am going to go down tonight and Sunday. Tomorrow looks like its going to flat out suck. Saturday is supposed to be cold, rainy, and windy. Thats not fun, I dont care who you are.

Sunday is supposed to be half way decent. Not really warm yet not really cold.

At least us workers will get to just sit around and do nothing on Saturday. Doubtful irf they'll let a few of us off, but im hopin for it!

im still waitin for them to soft open IJ:ST. If and when that happens, you can be sure that i'll be 1 of the first in line!

Dude, its going to be walk on's all day. I am going for a 100 laps on Son of Beast. My Goal for the season is 1000 laps on SoB.

I don't think 100 laps on SOB is possible. I helped set-up the Gemini 100 out at Cedar Point which (obviously) was an event to get 100 rides on their ride the Gemini which has much shorter ride and load times and the people doing it just barely got 100 rides on it before the park's closing. I mean, you can give it a shot, but I don't think it's possible.

okay from 10:00 AM to 6PM that gives me 8 hours. If there is no line and say i can catch a train every 5 minutes that would be 8hours X 60 minutes = 480 minutes, If I can average a ride every 5 minutes that would put me at 96. I hope there will be no line at all so I can re-ride multiple times without getting off, It will be close though. I plan on the park closing about 6 anyways. I wonder if any of the ride ops would think i was crazy?

I can see that there'd be walk-ons all day...but an almost 3 hour drive for a day at the park filled with rain and wind, and the possibility of the park closing early, I'd rather wait the extra day.

Player, the park is tentatively scheduled to close at 8PM both Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Although I have a feeling that tomorrow (Saturday) they may end up closing at either 5 or 6 due to lack of crowds and the cold weather. The same thing happened on the passholder preview day last year, but last year they only had Sunday as a pass holder preview day.

This weather does NOT look good. I highly doubt many rides will be open.

It's snowing here in Columbus. BBBRRRRRR cold!

Just got back from a cold, windy wet park. The park ended up closing at 12 today due to the weather, and several rides were not operating (All the steel coasters except Topcat`s Taxi Jam as well as The Beastie and Son of Beast were down. Most of the other rides were open though, and the lines were non existant. I mean, the weather was awfully brutal. Most people came and got their souvenir cups and left. IJST is coming along nicely, although they still have a lot of work to do on it!

Tomorrows weather looks better. Every time I see the forecast the estimated temps for Sunday keep going down. Anyone Ride The Beast in the snow? What was the deal with the free cups? Also anyone else having problems with the main page of this site? It has errors all over it.

Got to the park at 10:45, to my demise they said park was closing at 12.

So i went in got a ride on delerium, then i went and rode beast front row, then on my way out of the park stopped and took a front row ride on FoF. I would have let SoB run!

Just got home from PKI, it was a fun but brief day, very cold, rainy & windy. Rode Delirium alot while family went to other rides, now I'm ready for warmer days & more rides

no unfourtunately not. we only had to work 4 2 hours though, that was sweet.

yeah the front page is all messed up for me, too. i have to work a close on Sundy. hopefully we'll see a lot more people and a lot more things to do tomorrow.

Wasnt much open today. We rode Beast, TR:TR, Deli, FoF and recar twice. Did anyone else take the IJ:ST tour at noon today?
