This year Kings Island is closed all september. Does anyone know why? My guess is Fear Fest set up but I dunno.

every year PKI closes all Sep. because of private parties. ie P&G

Yeah - alot of companies do their stuff in September. I think the Pride Night is in Sep too but I could be wrong.

I will tell you guys why I work at the park full time. P&G buys the park out and so does toyota. These compines wll buy hundreds of tickets to buy the park out. Kings Island has been doing this for years. It also gives a chance for the people who work all year round to get ready for fear fest and the end of the season. Because once Kings Island closes for the season the people who work full time have to step in and get our work done.

Yes, P&G rents out the park for an entire weekend. They used to rent it for just a Saturday, but around 1999 or 2000 they started renting it out the entire weekend in September. P&G has had a company picnic at Kings Island every season the park has been open, and they had company picnics at Coney before KI opened in 1972.

GE Transportation Aircraft Engines is also one of those companies that buys out PKI every september. In years before I had season pass, that's when my family went because my grandfather once worked at GE.

BUT you will get four days in September to visit the park.... Fri-Mon, 2-5. (Labor Day weekend). After then, it's October and Fearfest.

You can get in with your season pass as long you say to the person who swipes your pass at the front gate. tell them I am with the company P&G OR whatever company that day buys the park. IT WILL WORK TRUST ME. My friends do it every year.

It should not work. Those companies pay for the people in attendance, and season passed, for obvious reasons, should not be honored during these private company rentals.

Um. . . I don't care how much I love PKI. There's no way I would use my season pass to get me in on Pride Night :-)

When is Grad night?

I just checked the May schedule for pki it is in may. Why are you in high school?

The setup for FearFest is a long one most of you have no clue how much time goes into planning FearFest.But yes the park is closed in sept because of parties and get-togethers.

That sucks. They should at least open up that one holiday i forgot what it is. I think it is labor day. I am not sure.

Yeah i remember my uncle telling me about the grad night that tower johnny decided to take a dive off.

Why couldn`t you have edited your post instead of posting two topics within one minute of each other? And the park is open Labor day weekend (the first weekend in September). They are open that Friday (from 10 to 8), Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

No grad night this year, but I'm pretty sure the park will be opened to the public the day that we usually had grad night.

June 5th is DIAA day not toyota day
