PCW IJST Video

Featured Replies

Two words: Not lame!

Looks pretty cool to me! Looked like he was having fun!

Yeah, it looks cool, but it's probably shorter than Top Gun.

Don't wast your time watching this video, PKIC will deliver a better, higher quality video once previews officially begin here at PKI wink.gif One thing that still concerns me is those rocks, please tell me thoughs aren't permanent (their just so cheap and ugly looking) sad.gif

^I'm sure PKIC will deliver a better video, but, until then, this is NOT a bad one to watch.

Anyone have any idea why PCW's version is going to open before PKI's. Doesn't make alot of sense if you ask me. I thought PKI finished buliding their's before PCW's. And ours isn't even open yet!!

I dont think that video does it justice honestly. Not all the effects were running while he was riding.

PKI got some of their cars burned if the fire awhile back so thats way PCW will open their IJSC frist.

We intend to have all sorts of video, but I don't know if the park will allow a POV as he had.

But yes, it looked really lame. It doesn't seem to do justice to the ride itself.

Anyone have any idea exactly how long the track is? They said just under 2,000 feet. I am curious to see how long it is. I would say around 2,200 feet but that is just a complete guess. It seems like there would be more than 2,000 feet of track.

I wonder what he means by "my knees will never be the same," that's a little scary to say the least, but overall he seemed to enjoy it although it is really short. But then again think about it what launched ride is long? TTD, KK, Wicked Twister and all its similar styles, FOF and all its similar styles, shuttle loops, Batman and Robin: The Chiller, hypersonic and its similar styles, Superman Ultimate Escape and its similar styles. Really when you get down to it all launched coasters are short and when you look at it the Incredible Hulk is probably the longest launched coaster, followed by Volcano:the Blast Coaster. I would be willing to say that when you compare IJ:ST to all the other launched coasters it is probably one of the longer duration launched coasters that there is believe it or not.

Too bad the soundtrack wasn't up yet either...I can't wait to hear it. If it's by the guy who did the music for MIB:AA, then it's gotta be good.

^What makes you think Andy Garfield composed for the IJST?

I've been told by someone making the ride that knows Garfield personally...and has also heard the music.

At the beginning of the video he says it'll go 60 MPH.

Or did he say KPH I couldnt tell?

^He said mph but I think he was confused because its only 40mph so he probably meant kph
