goofywdw Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 You might be a KI addict if on the way to Gatlinburg for Spring Break and when your parents ask which way is better to get to the highway you tell them the way that goes by Kings Island is the best and when you pass you take pictures if the park and DB testing. Tchu Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Yep, one moment you are taking pictures, then something...develops. Best. one. ever! You might be a KI addict if your extreme fear of snakes causes you to flee from a ten-inch Garter, but can't keep you away from a mile-long Diamondback Quote
gigacoaster2k Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 You might be a KIC addict if.. you are taking a leisurely walk past the school playground and laugh to yourself, thinking how ridiculous it would be to do a PTR on it. Quote
The Interpreter Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 You might be a park addict if you actually think it would be great fun to ride the spinning merry-go-round thingy at that playground, but worry what other adults would think...for about six seconds, then go ride it anyway! Quote
gigacoaster2k Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 haha I was one of those kids that would swing so high the chain would slack at the apex of the swing, and then jump off and end up with 946 cuts and bruises. Quote

Big Red Dice Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 i think mine was lost in that mess the otherday so here it is again you might be a ki addict if you own a vespa scooter that does 55+ mph and you ride thru the backwoods and wooded hills of indiana like brown county state park or the brookville area and think of rides like The Beast Quote
violakat03 Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 That sounds dangerous, and yet oddly like something I would do... Quote
Big Red Dice Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 That sounds dangerous, and yet oddly like something I would do... glad to know im not the only one who does stuff like that but it not dangerous at all just suxx when you hit strong headwinds Quote
Beast08 Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Kings Island is a great place to get away from it all. Quote
Jasper Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 You might be a KI addict if your extreme fear of snakes causes you to flee from a ten-inch Garter, but can't keep you away from a mile-long Diamondback That is priceless. That is one of the best ones I have ever heard. Quote
gigacoaster2k Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 You know you're an addict in general when.. you're speeding through downtown Dayton on I75 with a smile on your face, because you keep getting bursts of airtime from all the bridge seam bumps. Quote
The Interpreter Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Three words, though it is not as good that way as it once was: Ohio Route 73.... Quote
mech Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 you might be a ki addict if you have a count down marked in your school planer ... and its the only on the page Quote
Thrill_Biscuit Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 When you park in the guest pick-up/drop-off lot on a nice early-spring day, turn a classical music station and eat chilli, just to feel like you've been to the park ...even though it was Wendy's chilli... and DB wasn't testing. Quote
The Interpreter Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Given who owns the park now, shouldn't you be listening to Q102 or something like that, instead of classical? Terpy, who just HAd to Quote
CincinnatiCyclone Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Your a KI Addict When Stare at it every time you drive by it.(Every Day) Quote

The Interpreter Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Fine, but since there is a Skyline so near the park, why the Wendy's? Terpy, who never remembers Wendy "gracing" the park with her presence, much less her chili Quote

Terpy, who never remembers Wendy "gracing" the park with her presence, much less her chili We had already bought the Wendy's chilli on our way home, when I decided we should park and eat. Because my dear wife knows what a KI addict I am, she suggested we park there. It was cool. (The tower seems a bit more 'majestic' when listening to orchestra music). Next time I'll grab some LaRosa's or Chick-fil-A... and rock out to the Q Quote
The Interpreter Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Now that makes sense...and I'm glad I asked...how romantic and how nice of your wife! Quote

Funny you mention that. When I worked near KI I would either sit in the drop off lot and eat my lunch or I would take a trip inside the park and pick up a meal. I really miss those lunches, but thats the only thing I miss about that job. Quote
Big Red Dice Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 ...if you have one of those seventies style flashbacks about when you were young and you werent even around in the seventies Quote
