Vortex

Recommended Posts

Vortex has never seemed rough to me ever. But call me crazy I do find it a little bumpy though in the rear seats of each car. I don't like those seats anyway cause i'm a taller guy at a little over 6 feet tall. And my knees aways hit the back of the seat in front of me.

Last time I rode Vortex, it hurt. Of course it has been a while. In fact, I probably wasn't over 5 feet last time I rode it (I didn't ride it last time I went to PKI). I don't think it will anymore since I am now 5'6"

I don't think The Vortex is that bad, but I'm over 6', while my girlfriend hates it because it rattles her brain. The real fault I have with the coaster is that the seats themselves are just kind of uncomfortable for the amount of shaking the coaster produces. But that's to be expected with Arrow coasters. They get bumpier the older they get.

It's one of those rides where it depends where you sit. My favorite seat is the front of the last car. Great air time down the first drop.

That can't be your favorite seat, that's my favorite seat as well. smile.gif Seat 7-1 (Last car first row) Has always been my favorite, just love being pulled over the top of the lift, and down the drop.

Vortex is pretty smooth for an Arrow Multi-Looper. Especially since they run the breaks heavy before the corkscrews, the ride has become smoother than it use to be.

Yeah I remember back in the early years of operation of Vortex, you used to barly be slowed in the block break. You used to fly thru the corkscrews.
