Longest wait...

Featured Replies

I wouldnt wait 3 hours for TTD because from what i hear people say it isnt that good.

The longest ive ever waited in line was in MF. I waited 2 hours and i waited 1 hour 45 mins. for TTD. The longest at PKI was Face off for 1 hour 45 mins. We were 3 rides from being on it then it broke down. We waited for 10 minutez then left so we waited about 1 hour 55 mins. Then when we finnally got back to the beginning of the entrence of the ride it started doing test runs. I was super mad. mad.gif

Longest I waited was for five hours for The Beast, back in the early 80's.

TTD is worth a wait, Jasper, but not three hours.

It is worth the wait but no more mthan two hours to me.

I'm not sure I'd wait that long. Probably only an hour. MF, on the other hand, is worth a two hour wait.

If Dragster is running good, you should get in line. As long as it does not breakdown, the line moves really fast. If you figure that they launch a train of 18 people every 30 seconds or so(on a good day), that line will be moving quick.

The longest i've waited was for the Flight of Fear Jul. 3, 2005. It was about a 2.5 hour wait, but it was worth it.

Back in the day the longest wait for a coaster was 3 hours for The Beast and 2 hours for the King Cobra. So back in 1984 Kings Island only had 4 coasters for adults and one kiddie coaster. Not alot like today to pick from when you visit.

I waited 2 and a half hours for IJST. BIG mistake. 3 technical delays...

My friend wanted to go on it, otherwise i would have said screw it.

I waited 4 1/2 hours for Raptor when it first opened. If you think about it, Raptor was really the begining of the coaster building arms race at CP.

Mine was between 2 to 3 hours for FoF during the first season of operation. I thought we would never get on the ride. Esp after watching that pre-show like 10 times so it seemed LOL.

Remember the old signs. It will be aprox 2.5 hrs from this point until we have you in our control...smile.gif

Let's see... 2.5 hours for MF, 1.5 hours for FoF, about 1 hour for DZ, and 2.5 hours for SoB.

The longest wait would be The Beast because back in the 90s the wait for The Beast would be out to the pond. And waiting fo splash mountain at walt disney world 3 hours.

FoF 4 hours..............3 hours on The Beast, it was raining and they shut the ride down

Longest wait was for WWC in its debut season. At the time, every other light standard also had a speaker which belted out "Deliverance" style banjo music. Of course after about 5 mins the song repeated. I was not diappointed when the music was removed. As I recall, the line started on the RR overpass. The ride was OK, I return to it religously on every trip.

The other contender(for longest wait) was for Top Gun, again in its debut year. Music was better, as were the theameatics (?) what with the cool aircraft carrier motif and all. But, contrary to the above, the ride was way way to short for the wait. I was sorely disappointed and refused to ride it again for several years. It is only now that I consdier it.

One of the longest waits I ever had was on The Beast. It was through all of the ques

The longet wait 4 me was Top Thrill Dragster 6 1/2 hrs i was one of the first ones on!!!! Millenium Force is Still Better!!!!!! Cedar Point is the Best!!! ( sorry PKI )

Well for Cedar Point Top Thrill Dragster 2.35 hours. PKI FOF 1.3 hours.

Waiting more than maybe a half hour at a theme park is re-freaking-diculous(sorry, I heard that word today and was dying to use it.). For those of us who can only afford to come once a year and want to ride everything you can in that glorious 12 hours, you have to take your pick as to what you can wait in line for. Some things I'll wait for others I won't.

Also, I can remember not too long ago when everything had long lines every day of the week. Now for whatever reason if you pick the right day you can virtually walk on anything. I suppose that has to do with CDBB and other things.

Well think about it this way. Those long lines mean the park is making alot more money to build for your future enjoyment.

I waited over an hour for FoF once - like earlier this summer. Didn't have anything better to do.

Waited about 45 minutes for IJST. Thats about the longest I have ever waited for anything.

2 Hours to ride The Beast on a cool summer day in June 2002.

The longest I ever waited to ride something was about an 1 and 1/2 for Mission : Space at Epcot.
