flightoffear1996 Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 YOu couldnt get that kind of view from the DZ.
harvesterofyoursorrow Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 I actually took that really quickly, The elevator opened, and its around the corner from the view of SOB. And from DZ you would get a lift shot.
beastbreakdown Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 By the way thats the land I was talking about if its not obvious, good job with the picture man.
SOB_TOM Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 Ok now, anyone who actually works AT the park know anything? *looks at himself* I was turning around back there earlier, and there still is track there. Kinda hard to see since the weeds are tall, but its there.
MrPKI Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 I rode SOB this past weekend and saw that the track was still there. It was actually quite cool to see it but sad that it is sitting there rotting. So unless it was removed Monday or something, it should still be there.
harvesterofyoursorrow Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 I am pretty sure that there are two graveyards.
HelixSpiral Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 There is one KC graveyard behind Racer and another behind Son of Beast.
BoddaH1994 Posted June 8, 2005 Author Posted June 8, 2005 I was at the park myself. I can confirm that the KC graveyards are in fact still there.
Ben Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 There is one KC graveyard behind Racer and another behind Son of Beast. The area behind Son of Beast is the same area behind Racer.
geekzapoppin Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 Hi folks. First post here. I've been going to KI on and off for around 25 years or so. I remember the last time I rode the KC was, I think, the year before it was dismantled. It had been a while since I had been to the park and I had grown (up and out) since that time. Let's just say that it's a miracle that my son was conceived. I somehow got the seat locked into a position wherein it was far too low to the ground. I spent the entire ride having my man parts battered. I never rode it again.
Reclaimer Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 Just another confirmation: The KC graveyard(s)...still around!
Captain Nemo Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 Just another confirmation: The KC graveyard(s)...still around! Were you at the park today? did you see they were still there?
SOB_TOM Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 There is one KC graveyard behind Racer and another behind Son of Beast. The area behind Son of Beast is the same area behind Racer. Wrong Ben. Theres only about a half a park length between the two sites. For an idea on where The Racer one is, watch the fireworks. How many times does it take me to tell you all that I HAVE BEEN BACK THERE THREE DAYS AGO, AND YES, ITS THERE!
Reclaimer Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 Were you at the park today? did you see they were still there? Yes, and yes.
Admiral Ackbar Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 Yes, the track is indeed still there - just as it was several weeks ago.
