flightoffear1996
Does anyone know what is going on with the effil tower? It was closed at the end of the season last year and it is still closed. I was thinking it was supports getting weak or something.
Dane
New elevators, simple as that.
BoddaH1994
Yeah, I've heard that it's new elevators from several people as well. Last Saturday, they had the door propped open and were working in there. I don't know why every time a ride is closed, you guys think it's something terrible like the tower is going to fall or something.
drewbari
I have herd that Congo Falls has been closed, oh no it's going to fall! LOL
flightoffear1996
Well I was just wondering I didn't want to be harrased. Gezz. The thing is 25+ years old. Are they still the same style elevators?
drewbari
I was just kidding, I think they need to have glass elevators.
Captain Obvious
Glass elevators would be nice, I love to see kids freak out as there going up to the 331 foot tall Effel Tower.

I'd like to see glass floors on the elevators. Same concept as the CN Tower in Toronto, Ontario.
flightoffear1996
Yea that would be cool if they put glass floor in the elevators. I really doubt they would do that because less people would ride considering the load the glass would have to bear.
coasterbilly
well ya know that the ride is old lol. Fixing it up is always a plus for any ride. Glass elevator would be cool, but i don't think they'd make a glass floor for it.
Captain Obvious
The designers that would face the decision of desiding on blass floors have a big thing they have to think of, cleaning and weight. People are constantly tracking in who knows what on its floor. Also, occasionally carts and other things would be put in there and brought up, that might scratch the floor. KIBeast
I was thinking more on the lines of glass walls, not the floor.

The Eiffel Tower is 32 years old. It opened with park in 1972.
Browntggrr
Sorry, it is not the elevators. The tower is sinking. *cough*, *cough* (Easter cold) The Dippin' Dots guy told me.
