2006 Season

I'm purchasing a 2006 season pass to PKI. Mainly because CP isn't working out with my family, due to the 2.5 hour drive and the amount we have to pay for gas. We drive a 2002 Ford E-350 Van. PKI is only 45 minutes away.

Boomerang Bay is a lot better than Soak City. Although PKI doesn't have a Millennium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, Raptor, or Magnum, but I will be able to visit a lot more often.

$540 for 8 season passes that can upgraded to gold for free is a hell of a deal. Free parking for the rest of this season and next season. $17 for a Winterfest pass is a good deal, considering a one day ticket is what $16 or $17?

Anyways, I'm coming back to PKI. cool.gif

Yeah. I also wanted to ask something. I only went to PKI twice this year. The first time was in April, and omfg it was packed. Then the second time was in May, which wasn't bad at all.

Was the 2005 season full of days were crowds were heavy?

I made a rule for myself all summer...visit on Tuesday.

Tuesdays are not only dead, but I also get paid on Tuesday...thus making my trip more "doable"

I am sadly in somewhat a position with PKI as you are with CP. From my house to PKI, it's about 2 hrs. I almost didn't get a pass this year, but went ahead. I'm glad I did. Even though I don't have the visit-counts as some people here, I did make quite a few considering the drive-time to get to the park.

CP pass....out of the question for me. Cedar Point is a 5 hour drive from my house...which sounds strange, because I actually live further north. But there aren't any interstates going from north-central Indiana to Sandusky like there is from Indy to PKI (I-74)

It almost sounds as if you believe that this particular pass is a season pass to Winterfest..however to my knowledge I think that season pass holders only receive an eight dollar discount to the event. If i'm wrong then that would indeed be a very pleasant surprise.

No, you are correct. Pass holders receive (as you stated) an $8 discount to a one day admission to Winterfest. Too bad it isn`t free, but from what I have heard, they are selling a bunch of tickets already, so you might want to purchase your tickets soon, before they all sell out!
