italianchef
Until today, I hadn't been to PKI in a whole month because of weather, work, and other obligations. Sadly, unbeknownst to me, it was bring a friend free day. The park was so jam packed that we had to park at CDBB. After that we rode the Kings Island and Miami Valley Railroad to Rivertown. It was a nice ride. Then we walked around and had lunch at Bubba Gump Shrimp Shack. After that I went to AE because the line is never longer than 10 minutes - and I waited 22 minutes to ride! I never waited so long. The park was way crowded. After I was done, I decided to skip rides for the rest of the day. My family walked around some more and then went home. Next week I'm taking off from work and will spent at least 2 days at PKI. Hopefully I'll be able to avoid crowds and enjoy rides. Have a great day! Captain Nemo
The Tomb Raider line got to 3 hours. The whole Queue House was full and passed greeter. I was very surprised how busy it was.
CYoung2003
Thats nothing compared to that oh so fateful day in 2002 when the park reached its capacity and signs were posted out front to go and come back another day. You think waiting 22 mins for AE is bad, try waiting an hour and a half for Congo Falls!
pkiboy
I was at the park today too. It was pretty packed. I got there around 4:30 today. I did Tower, AE, backwards racer and last but not least The Beast. I met up with my dad at 7:30 we did The Beast together for the first time i took him to the second to last seat on The Beast it was a great ride. TopThrill
I worked Saturday and Sunday.. Saturday was very crowed. I had HB,Nick RverTown. That area was just eating the trash bags. Today Sunday I thought it was going to be a ok normaly day, NO there were more people today than yesterday. They gave me RiverTown. I hope your next trip to the park is on a normaly day Italianchef. bradb055
I just went today, and the park was packed, but not anything that I couldnt handle. I waited over an hour for FoF and about 45 min for SDHC. Long, yes, but it was the only time I could get to the park. I do have some good news though. I rode TRTR and I believe all the effects worked. Even the fog machines going into the holding room worked! I was very pleased. Unfortuantly, some of my day was ruined (exadurated a little) by some terrible service at Subway. In fact it was so bad, I wanted to report it to customer service (or whatever it is called). I wish I would have. I decided not to be ****ed off and not to be a total jerk so I let it go. Great day other than the worst experince with a PKI employee ever. O well, the rest of the emplyoees were great. Keep up the good work!
Admiral Ackbar
Yeah I believe Vortex had a 45 minute to an hour wait as well. It was PACKED!

Or did the light jsut appear and look takcy and crappy as always?
BoddaH1994
I too was at a very packed PKI today. Then again, I showed up at like 6, didn't ride anything, and stayed until after the park was closed. Could this mean that PKIC is brewing up something exclusive for you guys? Magic 8 Ball says "yes!".

Or did the light jsut appear and look takcy and crappy as always? It was working, but I wasnt paying attention to if it looked crapy or not. I was talking to the girl I was with at the time. But, again, it did at least work.
BoddaH1994
Although a lot of the show seems to be working, the lights on the door haven't matched up at all this season and the fog in the preshow is hit or miss.
TraderJake
Thats nothing compared to that oh so fateful day in 2002 when the park reached its capacity and signs were posted out front to go and come back another day. Oh God... that fateful day. I remember it well. I was going to Burger King to get lunch before my late shift (at 1:30), but I noticed the interstate exit backed up a mile from the park. I passed the park and saw the hell that was June 30th, 2002. So many cars, so many cars. Needless to say, rather than going to Burger King I went to work knowing my boss was the only one there. You think waiting an hour and a half to ride Congo is bad, people were all the way down the staircase and spilled into the WW pathways on the Speed Slides! Talk about packed! That was the one of the more stressful days I ever worked at PKI. But I digress. Must be the end of full season, kids and families going to the park before school starts up. bdboy007
Glad we decided to go shopping instead, I feel sorry for my friends that I gave the complimentary passes to if it was as crowded as you guys say
CoastersNSich
I saw the pretty full parking lot as I drove by on I-71 to pick up a friend in Mason to go to Cedar Point... My Trip Report On the way, when exiting off I-71 to turn left on Kings Mills Rd, some ****ing jerk just parked their *** car in the middle of the intersection, so I honk a little, but they give me the big fat bird. Nice tennis fans you have out there!!!!! Back to the topic, CP was pretty packed too. Even in the evening, we waited over 45 min. to do Raptor. Monday was also very crowded, it wasn't hard to wait 1.5 or even 2 hours for something (like Millennium Force or Top Thrill Dragster). Mustve been a combination of last minute before back to school and the deep ticket discounts.
flightoffear1996
Yea I heard that CP was have alot of problems getting the guest in the park. How much are those discounted tickets?
