You probably know that PKI is having "Nick or Treat" in Nickelodeon Central for Fear Fest. Now, I recently came across a site that finds a major problem with the name "Nick or Treat" in which, if not pronounced clearly enough, comes off somewhat racist. You can find this site HERE. Now, that is actual audio from Nickelodeon when they did Nick or Treat. That was how they pronounced it on TV. Do you think people are going to complain about the name, and what it sounds like?

Well, it's not like the phrase Nick or Treat is anything new. I've heard it for years. If someone was going to complain, I think it would have happened by now.

I hate it when the media makes something out of nothing. Clearly PKI, Paramount Parks, and Viacom had NO INTENTION of making any particular meaning out of the title "Nick or Treat". I'm the last person to say that racism is no longer a problem in our country but holy jeeze.. stuff like this causes more trouble by being public than it would if no one had said anything.
