Question about crowds at FearFest

I've never been to FearFest before but I really want to go to PKI one more time before the year is over. Now I've heard that the lines for the actual FearFest attractions are horrible, but that's not what I care about. Are the lines for the normal rides like rollercoasters, flats, etc bad? I'd most likely be attending on a Saturday. Is there one week in particular of FearFest that historically has seemed to have the smallest crowds? Also, are all the rides open? I'm assuming they are but I'm just checking. Finally, if FearFest is crowded for just the normal rides, would making a trip November 5th be worth it, or is it also crowded and are all the rides supposed to be open then? Thanks for the help.

They don't have any fearfest things open at all on Sundays? Thats a crock. Are you aloud to take pics while your on the fearfest rides and what not?

I went every weekend last year for fearfest and the best day with a crowd of like 5000 was when it was like 40 and pouring down rain the entire time but I had a blast.

Personally, I didn't mind the lines at Fear Fest. as long as I get a good scare, it's all good. The only line I was impatient with was Draculas castle... AND THAT WAS A DISSAPOINTMENT! mad.gif As long as your with a friend, it kills time in line... least for me it does.

On the contrary, I think the line made Dracula's Castle. It was great seeing the old PT characters... the movie sucked... but the line was cool.

Route 666 was pretty cool...luckily I didn't really have to wait...anyway, I thought it only topped out at a 3 hour wait....which is still long, but I didn't think it hit 6 hours...

Oh yea, Fearfest is only Friday/Saturday nights this year, so no - nothing Fearfest is open on Sundays...

Which is the reason why the park is saying 9 nights of Fear Fest, and not ten. This year, unlike last year, they are calling Fear Fest seperate from the family friendly portion of Nick or Treat. Last year it was Fright by Night and Fun by day. The first three years of Fear Fest, when it was a seperate gate attraction, it was open on Fridays and Saturdays only.

Last year we rode plenty of rides before Fearfest began the lines weren't bad at all, but we always left before all of the FF attractions were open because our kids were to young for any of them.

That sounds familiar. My kids are too young for fear fest also. This year we are leaving them with their grandparents and going without them! cool.gif
