Captain Obvious Posted April 26, 2004 Posted April 26, 2004 From Coasterbuzz.com 4/25/1998 - Scooby's Ghoster Coaster, the first Caripro Batflyer junior suspended coaster in the US, opens at Paramount's Kings Island. Rode it once, never riding it again. Quote
docdude316 Posted April 26, 2004 Posted April 26, 2004 Do you have to have a child with you to ride? Quote
coasterbilly Posted April 26, 2004 Posted April 26, 2004 i haven't ridden it either, line was too long for my taste to enjoy it. Is there a maximum height to it? Quote
King Bowser Posted April 26, 2004 Posted April 26, 2004 I ride it alone sometimes when I have been on everything else when my Bro is seeply or just being a brat. Quote
RevengeofTheSmurfs Posted April 26, 2004 Posted April 26, 2004 I ride this all the time with my Little girl it is fun but hurts me in places I dare not to speak of. Quote
Captain Obvious Posted April 26, 2004 Author Posted April 26, 2004 ZI think my other post got deleted or I just didn't post it but I was gonna share why I will never ride it again... Lets just say... "manly problems." Quote
drewbari Posted April 26, 2004 Posted April 26, 2004 My brother and I used to ride it, but we quite when I got my foot stuck in the car. LOL! Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 I waited 2 hours for it on the day it opened and it was probaly the lowest capcity ride in the park. Quote
CoastersRZ Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 What do you mean Scooby`s Ghoster Coaster WAS the lowest capacity ride in the park? I believe it IS the lowest capacity ride in the park! Quote
coasterbilly Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 yeah i follow you up on that statement, how many cars are exactly operated on that ride? Quote
drewbari Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 yeah i follow you up on that statement, how many cars are exactly operated on that ride? 4 I think. Quote
RevengeofTheSmurfs Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 But you guys gotta admit that the ride is really cool. Quote
KIBeast Posted April 28, 2004 Posted April 28, 2004 (edited) I rode the Ghoster Coaster once with my niece. It think it is a great junior coaster to start the little ones with. :offtopic: I also rode Runaway Reptar and thought it was cool too. The only thing I didn't like was the height restriction. What I mean is, it's incorrect. I was not too tall to ride according to PKI's rules and when we first started up the hill my feet touched the bottom of the ride. I was not too confident on that one. And, I am only 5'11". Maybe they need to rethink that one. BTW, the off topic refers to my own post about Reptar before anyone gets offended. Edited April 28, 2004 by PKIBeast Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted April 28, 2004 Posted April 28, 2004 Im not sure how many cars the ghoster coaster has but I know you got to wait for the one car to get done with the course until they can send another car. Terrible capcity coaster I think the park should have re thought this one. Quote
