Browntggrr Posted May 1, 2004 Posted May 1, 2004 Since PKI wants to go strictly Hollywood, what are the chances of a Planet Hollywood being built either in the park, or near the parking lot (something like Planet Hollywood in Downtown Disney)? Quote
King Bowser Posted May 1, 2004 Posted May 1, 2004 Now that sounds like a great idea! Aslong as they would have some kinda of Time line to show the people what rides have been in the park. Quote
RevengeofTheSmurfs Posted May 1, 2004 Posted May 1, 2004 :stupid: I voted NO too that will just attract snobby people plus Planet hollywoods are over rated! Quote
italianchef Posted May 1, 2004 Posted May 1, 2004 In my humble opinon, a Planet Hollywood would greatly enhance the movie atmosphere of PKI. However, it'd have to be open all year around to profit. Additionally, it'd have to be located adjacent to the park because PKI is closed during the off-season. Now, do I really think PKI will get a Planet Hollywood? No! However, I voted yes that it'd be a jolly good idea. Have a great weekend! Italian Chef :chef: Quote
Dane Posted May 1, 2004 Posted May 1, 2004 ^Very good point that if it was IN the park, it would have to close during the offseason. Quote
DirtySteve Posted May 1, 2004 Posted May 1, 2004 speaking from experience...planet hollywood food SUCKS! The only appeal of it, is the movie memorbilia...after you go once, the novelty wears off Quote
specialk141 Posted May 1, 2004 Posted May 1, 2004 ditry steve beat me to it.... food sucks! their burgers are outright horrible! I vote no for planet hollywood! I'd rather see somehting like House of Blues (which is a deffinite possibility, being that HOB entertainment is now in charge of booking Timberwolf (in case you didnt hear)... Quote
go4daspork Posted May 2, 2004 Posted May 2, 2004 Keep it outside the park. I don't think that a major chain of restaurants like that would work all that well inside a park. Plus I think they should go with a place that is like an actual Hollywood restaurant, not just one that has Hollywood in the name. Quote

coasterbilly Posted May 3, 2004 Posted May 3, 2004 i like the idea, but as stated before, put it next to the park to keep bringing in profit. Quote
