italianchef Posted May 2, 2004 Posted May 2, 2004 I rode Flight Team twice and got some AWESOME pictures of PKI. However, I will not miss it because FT was too expensive. Hence, I wasn't planning another ride. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef: Quote
Browntggrr Posted May 2, 2004 Posted May 2, 2004 My wife and I rode it back in 2000, and it was really nice, but the cost made it a one time affair. Quote
Captain Obvious Posted May 3, 2004 Author Posted May 3, 2004 Anybody remember what the prices were like on this? Quote
Mrs. G. Posted May 3, 2004 Posted May 3, 2004 We did it the day after PKIC day last year, we took the whole downtown to-the-river-and-back tour. I did it mostly to test myself as I really don't like heights and hadn't flown since '95. It was a blast and I wish I'd had the foresight to bring a camera. The guy gave an excellent tour for us out-of-towners, pointing every last little thing out, we learned a lot - but I kept freaking when he would turn around while talking to me in back, as if it was a car or something, like "keep your eyes on the.......air?" As I recall it was expensive, like $80 each. I would've done it again. Quote
coasterbilly Posted May 3, 2004 Posted May 3, 2004 yeah it was around 80, i never got to do it, but it did look cool. I guess it gives PKI room for something else to go in there. Quote
dxrunner Posted June 6, 2004 Posted June 6, 2004 never did it, never heard of it, can someone tell me what it was? Quote
coasterbilly Posted June 18, 2004 Posted June 18, 2004 it was a helicoptor ride where you flew above PKI and into Cincinnati, of course you could take some amazing aerial shots, it looked awesome but it was pretty expensive. Quote
Scooby_Doo Posted June 18, 2004 Posted June 18, 2004 I will miss it I never got to go on it and I really wanted to get some great pics of the park. Quote
PKIDelirium Posted June 18, 2004 Posted June 18, 2004 I miss it! I rode it last August and got some GREAT photos, but unfortunetely they were on a lower-quality camera due to mine being in the shop. It's still on the park map, so maybe it'l be back! Quote
