KIfan73
Just wondering a few things about the new resort next to PKI (Great Wolf Lodge?) When will it open? Is it actually part of PKI? Indoor water park? Is it also going to be like a hotel where you can stay at during the summer, and shuttle to the park? Thanks for any info! CoastersRZ
Yes, it is not part of PKI, but I believe that PKI has a 15% stake in the hotel, for providing the land to Great Wolf for the lodge.
ZosoBeast
According to the blueprints I have seen of the place, it is supposed to have a Nick Gift Shop inside. Just sort of makes me wonder if they will still go with that if Paramount no longer owns the park by the time it opens. Just a thought! CoastersRZ
Very interesting indeed. Well, I would imagine that that will depend on if the park keeps the Paramount and Viacom licensing. If they remove them (which IMO, would be a mistake, especially for Nickelodeon) than the Nick gift shop would seem out of place.
DA RIPPER
Do any of you know if the Kalahari resort in Sandusky Ohio is also owned by Great wolf lodge?

DA RIPPER
I heard $200 a night base on 4 people , that's what Kalahari is charging or you can go to the waterpark for $34 a day without stay at the hotel.
RailRider
No Kalahari is a seperate company than Great Wolf. This is going to be much larger than the Great Wolf located in Sandusky, which is amazing. Also if the resturant inside is family style like the one in Sandusky the food is fabulous and its all you can eat family style serving. This is going to be a major attraction that will draw more people to PKI, especially for the off seasson events like FearFest and WinterFest.
