The Interpreter
El Toro was never planned to open with the park...which opens two weeks before Paramount's Kings Island this year, by the way....
VortexQueen
Six flags huh? nice, sort of.. hope it goes well for them, sort of.. atleast they did not get thier little hands on KI and another Paramount Park, it would have been me against them (if i had power) then. but go six flags get it done! Edit: Holy Crud that thing is huge (the brown woody) wow. yea now i really wish them luck... sort of.
Captain Nemo
Man they are squeezing that coaster in there!
flightoffear1996
Yea I just noticed that it a really tight fit for a coaster. It may turn out too look to jammed. Then again if a remeber right El Toro doesn't have too many turns and is maily an out and back desgin which would fit nicely in that spot. Jasper
That thing is huge how high were they saying it would be again?
The Interpreter
It's 181 feet high, with a 176 foot first drop that goes down at a 76 degree angle (steepest wood coaster). It has only four hills, though, and they are 112', 100' and 82' respectively. Top speed is an estimated 70 mph, and the length is 4400 feet... RingMaster
.....this kinda reminds me of when Cedar Point was building Millenium Force, and how little of a space they had for the lift hill and first drop. Which is why MF's drop angle is so STEEP (70 or 80 degree drop, IDK) and also why it's the first coaster to use a lift system similar to those in an elevator. Oh, yeah, and why that overbank turn after the first drop is so.....banky.
flightoffear1996
MF drop is 80 right on the dot.
Jasper
MF is one heck of a coaster. I wish PKI would get one like that.
RingMaster
I wish our Top Gun was a clone of Iron Dragon at CP or Big Bad Wolf at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Then again, I wish we had a Raptor here at PKI (another monster loose in the woods of some sort).
