March 29, 200620 yr I was just wondering how much everybody misses something in the park and how much they miss it. Mine is the back seat of The Beast. On a scale of 1-10 i miss it a 9.
March 29, 200620 yr I take it comments about last hills on The Racer and The Flying Eagles aren't really what you were looking for, right?
March 29, 200620 yr I must admit that having Winterfest through December as well as being up at the park a few times for PKIC stuff has eased my writhing desire for opening day a little, but I'm also still very excited.
March 29, 200620 yr Author I take it comments about last hills on The Racer and The Flying Eagles aren't really what you were looking for, right? The Eagles i wouldnt talk about too much but The Racers arer an instant classic so yeah u can talk about them.
March 29, 200620 yr I miss the 'tiques really badly! Not because I liked riding them, but because it was a pleasant, green patch of trees, and now the "urban" IJST theming is just such an eyesore!
March 29, 200620 yr Yeah, I actually miss Skyride, Big Log Flume (Yes I know the real name <G>) and Tumblebug the most.
March 30, 200620 yr Author Maybe they should take some of that space that is not used up and build some more antique cars.
March 30, 200620 yr I long for, on a warm sunny day, walking through the turnstyles, hearing the music, and seeing the fountains and the tower. Thats my favorite part.
March 30, 200620 yr I am surprised no one has mentioned the Smurfs. Or maybe I am the only one that misses them. I liked that big rainbow slide too... Dont recall its name.
March 30, 200620 yr Yay another topic to whine and complain about how much we all hate Paramount and CBS and how the eagles arent coming back nor the tiques nor phantom theatre etc etc etc
March 30, 200620 yr Author Yay another topic to whine and complain about how much we all hate Paramount and CBS and how the eagles arent coming back nor the tiques nor phantom theatre etc etc etc I just started this topic to see how people are missing PKi and not what they miss from the past but from the present. I should have mentioned that. Mybad guys.
March 30, 200620 yr Now, now, Mr. Stupendous. Those who truly love a place see not only its pluses and grand things, but also its shortcomings and places where there is room for improvement. The park no doubt appreciates honest, sincere assessments, not just fanboy fawnings....The former is of use, the latter is syrupy pablum which soon grows tiresome.

I've always said that the people on here have kind of a pseudo-responsibility since a lot both aren't employees yet are at the park often. Therefore, they can identify faults, yet they don't have the immediate justification that being an employee would likely cause.
March 30, 200620 yr Author I also miss coming down the highway and playing the first one to see the Eiffel Tower gets to go in first. Oh Good Time God Times!
March 30, 200620 yr I miss the the 11pm closes after working an All day shift and the quiet chill time in Antechamber before loading scale of 1 - 10 ........... 10! Theres nothing quite like chilling in the quiet airconditioned Antechamber. DMC
March 30, 200620 yr I miss the Tim Fisher days and the LOUD LOUD music playing at admissions/guest relations on International Street (WHAT DID YOU SAY? WHAT DID YOU SAY? I CAN'T HEAR YOU FOR THE MUSIC. I SAID I CAN'T HEAR YOU FOR THE MUSIC!). Oh, wait!
March 30, 200620 yr Right now though I just miss being at the park. I just enjoy PKI because it's like a get away from everything in life. I'm ready for my Vortex ride too. Come on April 14th, and lets hope for good weather.

Im not denying the shortcomings I'm just saying all these people who still complain about the ealges and the tiques need to suck it up and realize that its past decision and probably wont be coming back. They should embrace what they have and if theyre truly mad at someone blame the right people.
March 30, 200620 yr Author I also agree with Vortex i miss the park so much and it feels like i havent been there in forver.
March 31, 200620 yr amen. even though it is only 2 weeks from today, it feels like a millenium some times. (though this year i oddly am not looking forward to opening day as i usually am).... oh and does anybody know WHY there are no 11 closes? those were some of my favorite day/nights!
March 31, 200620 yr I think i hear something about the time between 9 - 11 no new customers coming into the park, but we are all still on the payroll....They lose money
