CoastersRZ
Yep, its been gone since the start of the season. On a similarly related sign matter, the Coney Mall arch that goes over the midway by Bubba Gump`s has been temporarily removed to allow the safe passage of the parade floats. It will return shortly after the conclusion of the parade on July 9th.
moore
They took it out at the beginning of the season. Why?
CoastersRZ
I don`t think anyone other than people at the park know exactly why. They still have the concrete base where it used to reside.

The Interpreter
IT WAS DRY ROTTING! Perhaps this would not have happened had the sign been built of cedar of fair quality.
