Its bad enough to wait 1.5 hrs per ride let alone to have people blow by you when your next up in line. CP needs to look at it from the perspective of everyone in line, its plain and simply-LINE JUMPING. Am I jealous-probably, do I want to go ahead of everyone else who put in the wait time-no. One thing to keep in mind though it says they are a limited number of tours per day, so it probably wouldn't be that bad. No different then the PKI walk on weekends for Gold Season Pass holders. CoastersNSich Posted August 1, 2006 Share Posted August 1, 2006 One reason why Cedar Point is offering the VIP package tours is due to the many celebrities and other true VIPs that have visited the park. I know of actors like Drew Carey, athletes/sports stars like LeBron James, as well as members of the Cleveland Indians, for example that have gotten this treatment - simply because they want to visit the park, do a few rides, and not have to deal with the public asking for photos, autographs. Honestly, to be more fair, they've decided to offer this service to anyone that has the money, but not the fame that let people do it before. Most guests simply aren't going to throw away $350 per person to cut the lines. Somewhat off topic, I was at Kings Island when Nick Lachey and Justin Jeffre, former members of 98° last year. I saw them twice: getting on Son of Beast, and walking past the Happy Days Diner. Obviously, they had escorts by security, and management, including Maureen Kaiser (also a celebrity in our minds!)
