I got a chance to peek inside Cowboy Carnage early this morning, which is inside RVT Mining Company, and they pretty much have it almost finished in terms of construction. Although I must admit, it's a bit smaller than when it used to be inside the White Tent.

Rumors are circulating that two mazes/midways could be overtaking Action Zone, and that the Paramount Theater could be a houser. Remember 2000's Pirate Jack and the Legend of Halloween? My guess is a new maze will debut in it's old spot. Of course, these are just rumors, and I could more than likely be wrong.

^ Maybe a "circus" of some sorts?.... Actually, the new attraction in RVT may be a bit LONGER than it was under the tent. Remember, attraction walls can be re-arranged in ANY pattern with MINOR tweaking. A floorplan to a haunt IS NOT "set-in-stone". Hence the term "modular attraction". -Hauntguy

Yes. All the mazes from last year will be back. There are a couple of name changes (Maze of Madness is now The Asylum, R.L. Stine`s Fear Street is now Massacre Manor). Also, the former Massacre Manor that was housed in a large white tent behind the Eiffel Tower on the former site of the Saltwater Circus has been relocated to the Mining Company Building in Rivertown and renamed Cowboy Carnage.

As far as the Fear Zones, Cornstalkers is back. I`m assuming the one over by Action Zone will be back and there will be a new Fear Zone this year, but I`m not sure where it will be at. The other addition this year seems to be more live entertainment in the International Street area of the park.

Here's some interesting tidbits for you guys:

-The killer clowns of the old Nightmare under the Big Top have mailed their change of address forms as Circus is no longer in the Festhaus. I won't say where, but I WILL say that their new home is in an old location, and I'm not talking about an old FearFest location....although it is fairly close to an old FF venue.

-Apparently, these Entertainment folk don't have a clue on what they want to do with the Curse of the Crypt facade for '04, as it's now back beside the Zephyr next to the storage tent. Last year, they stored it right behind the Maze of Madness, but now it looks like it's been ransacked as if they plan to repair it or use parts of it for some other maze....

-No word yet on what the fate of the Waste Land fear zone will be (the rumor of Holiday Horror is still present), but I think I have an idea of where it and the Work Site could go. Site is semi-confirmed to go in the Gauntlet's old spot of the midway between Sling Shot and Express, but it could possibly extend all the way behind Action Blast and go up to Paramount Theater, with it just stopping short of and curving around towards the back roads leading to Face-Off. Waste Land, on the other hand, is rumored to start somewhere near EuroBungee, and end along the brick path by the Italian Job/3-Point Challenge Pavillion. Again, I could be wrong about this, so don't trust me entirely.

That's it from me; I'll have more for ya next weekend. In the meantime, I have to finish planning for the Nights of Fright at Scarlet Oaks. Laters.

If you guys read CAREFULLY through the post I made on here.... you would know were Circus of Horrors will be. I try to sublimanaly put in information (that I know is fact) into my post.

Also, does anyone ever think that International street could be used as a fear zone? This year, I.S. will be used... and I think you guys will like it. -Hauntguy

I think I have an idea of what International Street will be used for. And if I'm right, then that means we could see a combination of flashbacks between last year's Winterfest and 2003's Celebrity Slaughter....if you know what I mean. wink.gif

P.S.: About Holiday Horror, are we going to end up in stitches over the Easter Bunny, Tom Turkey, and Santa Claus, or will it just be Christmas in October? rolleyes.gif
