That had to be late 80's to early 90's, before Paramount took over. Yes the fountain looks bad in that pic. The Fountain does look much better now. smile.gif

I'm not sure what you are saying is so nasty about the fountain?

Look at the rust and discoloration right below the lip of the fountain risers.

Yes, Paramount (Viacom) spent a great deal rehabbing the Royal Fountain a couple of years back; and they deserve credit for doing it. I think part of it was to prepare for Winterfest's return. . .

Didn't even notice that.

I can tell ya they were not that way when I was supervisor at Ice Cream Shoppe. I looked at it every day as I had International Sipper and International Popcorn Kart.

And that was Pre Paramount.
