Actually, according to the Worlds of Fun website, the Max Pass for Worlds of Fun is $85. The save ten dollars that applies to the Max Pass also applies to the Worlds of Fun only and the Oceans of Fun only pass. In other words, the prices that are listed are discounted down $10 from what the price will be after November 10th. Worlds of Fun Season Pass Page

And, it has been reported over on Screamscape that Canada`s Wonderland WILL sell a Max pass starting sometime in November, after the park has closed for the season. I have to wonder why such a delay in offering this option at the park. Especially since the Maxx passes sold at the other parks have always included admission to this property.

I would think there are at least three possibilities on why it is taking so long for Maxx passes to be offered at Wonderland:

* Taxation issues with the Canadian Government, the province of Ontario and/or the local municipality on the extra cost portion of the Maxx pass, which can clearly be attributed to revenue that will be earned outside Canada but collected inside Canada, and/or

* Cedar Fair had no intention of issuing Maxx passes at Wonderland, but was flooded with complaints/requests from patrons who WANT to go visit Cedar Point, Kings Island, etc., in the USA, and either decided to take that revenue or grant those requests or both, (and some of these people no doubt pointed out how unfair it was that US patrons could use their Maxx pass in Canada, but Canadians had no such option unless they bought their pass in the USA--see #1 above...) and/or

* There will be an announcement of some sort about Wonderland prior to the beginning of Maxx pass sales there (I wouldn't think that likely, but stranger things have happened).

Find out which U.S. Post Office in your area handles the Passports. You will need a 1" x 1" picture, photo ID, and a birth certificate. Be sure that it is a birth certificate and not a certificate of birth- I can't remember the difference between the two, but there is a significant difference and you can't get a passport w/o the proper one.

If you are going to get one, be sure to plan WAY ahead.
