neo8820
Went to PKI last night and noticed a couple things that I want to know if anyone knows more about. First, on Italian Job the fire balls right before you go into the sewers were replaced by water cannons. Second, the scrambler looks like it is in the process of being disassembled. Any ideas on the reasons behind this?
beastfan11
the scrambler gets dissasembled for fearfest to be used as the line for massacre manor, and I dont no what you are talkng about IJST
neo8820
the scrambler gets dissasembled for fearfest to be used as the line for massacre manor, and I dont no what you are talkng about IJST Italian job at the top when the helicoptor comes up and starts shooting it's gun. When I rode this summer they used gas explosions with fire that shot out of the barrels. Now it is just big water cannon explosions.
pcwfreak
Unless its different from PCWs, it's always been water cannons in the barrels.

CoastersRZ
Kings Island`s has always had water cannons shoot out of the barrels. On the left side of the train, they have flames fueled by natural gas, and then they have the large flame that shoots out just to the right of the helicopter. Been like that since it opened last year.
Skywriter
They have always had fire, last night it wasn't working. Guys rember what next to it. The new Worksite that really sucks. They want it dark and foggy in the Paramount Story and The Worksite.Thats why the bumper cars and the merry-go-round was not running.I know this because I was there yesterday and di worksite and just as they where closing the Bumper Cars some people asked why the Merry-go-round and the bumper cars where shutting down they stsed that it was to help with the lighting of the new fearfest attractions. If you think about it,Itilan job would have created a flame so everyone could see what was in the worksite.I can tell you I have done every fearfest attraction now except Fearstreet. I have seen monster bash and I will return to fearfest this weekend to go again.I also got my pass for this weekend it suck because it is only a temp. pass you get the real one next year when you visit. It it really just a piece of paper with a barcode. I will now give you a run through of my fearfest last night.Go there and noticed there where Phantom theather Guys there and they move at fearfest.I got my new pass it took 20-30 min to get it.Then rode Top Gun about a 30 min wait I hate it but my little brother loves it. Next was Nick-or-Treat.got some candy(they give adults candy too). Then spent 15 dollars on two fries and cheese sause and a large drink. At that point it was around 5:30 I took a ride on The Beast in the front seat.Got done with that a 6:00 net I noticed that there fog in the new expanded corn stalkers and the sign has returned and it goes to the floar clock.Waste land was blocked off. But the sounds where there and the fog had stared there as well.i knew it was going to be busy So i got in line for they olny thing I had not do was Massaer Manor Which I waited a hour for. I waited 2 hours for wasteland it was suppoes to open at 8:00 now but instead 8:35.at that point it was just way to croweded and lots of line jumping. So I took in the show Monster bash and left and it was a very god show a must do for fun.Not scary but entertaining. It was very very foggy that night and alot more foggers where in use arond the Paramount story you couldreally not see where you are going it is that foggy. Will thats about it for me. Really the wasteland is longer and some cool props. It was okay but not the best. I would recomend Cowboy Carange or Headless (My Favorites).Sorry for the missspelling. CoastersRZ
Well, I have done the Worksite when IJST is open, and they definanetly still had the flame going. Plus, I would believe what CombatStupendous says, even without evidence or proof.

Well thats what I heard form a employee and how do you know it was having technical difficulties.........See please back it up with common sense. I'm a former employee of the park and returned these last few weeks to give them a hand in understaffed areas, the ride last night and today was having technical problems. I went through the worksite last weekend with IJ working and last night it was working with the worksite going untill they had some sort of difficulty. Why would they worry about a flame that doesnt give in direct ligth in the area that would "reveal" anything when a guest probably could just use a keychain flashlight in the haunt that would be more effective. neo8820
The flame was having technical difficulties and has ran before with the worksite being there, please use common sense. I only asked about the flame because I have been on the ride twice where we were stalled at the top while they were loading riders with dissabilities. Both times people started freaking out because they thought something was wrong with the ride and the smell of gas is very evident after the flame goes off. One time a women actually started to panic and get out of the train because she was convinced it was going to explode and we were going to burn alive! CoastersRZ
That is completely false! On Italian Job, they can safely park all three trains by the stations. One in load, one in unload and one on the ready brakes by the transfer track. Unless they were taking a long time unloading from the unload station, a train should not get stuck up top. They were loading the folks with disabilities on the unload and there was a train in the ready brakes. Don't ask me why but they were. RailRider
Not to be a complete @ss, but... Skywriter, your posts are almost impossible to read because of the horrible spelling and gramar. I am not asking for perfection, but come on preview your posts before putting them up and if you dont see your errors, work a little harder in english class. Neo, did everyone blow up and die or have you overexagerated this story? Just curious, because I really dont see anyone freaking out on IJ:ST that much nor being able to climb out. Kinda cozy in those seats. Would love to see that lady freak out on Mummy when the entire room is on fire. Back to the original topic. Like said before the flame does not add that much light to the surrounding area, because it shoots straight up in the air with nothing to reflect off of. Also I would guess that it was either having technical dificulties with the flame. Maybe someone can answer this question. I know with Volcano at PKD they turn the flame off when there are high winds. Makes sense they would do the same for IJ:ST, but do they take the wind in to considerations since it is not that high off the ground.
