kjkjkj
as i was looking at the jobs for KI I saw this Musicians: Paramount's Kings Island is casting lead guitar, bass guitar, saxophone (tenor and alto), keyboard and drums for a pop music show. Individuals and existing bands are invited to audition, and headshots and resumes are required. it sounds a lot like SOR show to me?
CoastersRZ
Well, just because they are casting positions for a live band does note mean that School of Rock is returning. For example, just take a look at this picture from a Smurf show in the mid `80s at the International Showplace. They have a live band in that show. There is no reason why they can`t be casting a live band for a singing dancing type show in the Paramount Theater with a different theme than School of Rock. Shman
for a pop music show The quick answer to that would be NO....this is not for School of Rock since they are looking for POP musicians. Anyways....we all know that last year was the last for School of Rock. Paramount theatre is going to have something very different inside this year....and youre all going to love it!!! The musicians are being put together for a new show in a different venue.
Gordon Bombay
Any idea when these try outs are or what they entail as far as say the guitar goes?
Shman
The park already held auditions in the beginning of November. However, they usually hold a second round sometime in February to fill the remaining positions. The instrumental auditions are basically go in and play something in the style they are looking for, show that you can solo, and they will usually hand you a chart to see if you can follow it/read music.
