I like The Vortex better because I haven't ridden The Beast yet, but I want to know what you think of both, so Vortex, or Beast?

Not only is The Beast a classic, but it has one awesome crew, and it doesn't give you a really bad headache when you get off.

talk about one sided, sure Vortex is my favorite Arrow, but it doesn't even compare to the sheer madness and insanity of Beast.

Well considering that in my top 10 coasters, of 135, Beast is 2, behind millennium force.....Vortex is not in the top 50

The Vortex is not the best arrow if you count Hyper Sonic but other than that I would say yea. The Vortex and The Beast are very close but I would have to give The Beast this one for the main fact it still is a fun coaster after 25 years. It also took alot more enginneering to build The Beast. The Beast has no air time however.

The Beast is without a shadow of a doubt the better coaster for one its wood and two its The Beast for crying out loud!!!!!

that's all you have to say, it's The Beast, period. The Beast has some airtime, i wouldn't say NONE, but some.

I Like The Vortex but The Beast gets My vote because The Beast IS my Favorite Rollercoaster ever!

No contest - The Beast. This year The Beast celebrates its 25th birthday and will SURELY celebrate its 50th. Does anyone else think Vortex will hit 50? What about 25?

I voted Beast. The Vortex is a good ride, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't compare to a ride on The Beast. The feeling of getting lost in the middle of the woods at night and not knowing what kind of animals could be out there. Not to mention the loud noises in the tunnels when you go through them.
