The Interpreter
Greatly expanded waterpark and it's not named something other than WaterWorks.
Shman
I see some very familiar pieces of information on that sheet that fit into some of our unannounced 2007 plans.
jzarley
I'm suprised they didn't mention an ice show at KD...I figured each of the parks in the chain would have one since they're such crowd pleasers. I wonder if KI will do a version of the Dora show at the theater in Nick Central? I think it's just a waste to only use that venue for character meet & greets. (As an aside, friends of mine have a 3 year-old daughter and she is absolutely obsessed with everything "Dora." She can actually count as well in Spanish as she can in English...) I've always wondered this, but are theme park casts/crews usually Equity members?

I wonder if they might use the Enchanted Theater for the show?
RailRider
Well it looks like that entertainment is going to be a focus at the former Paramount Parks this year. With the release of both CaroWinds and Kings Dominions press releases we have clearly seen an emphasis on entertainment and the discontinued use of Paramount in the name. Shman
Well it looks like that entertainment is going to be a focus at the former Paramount Parks this year. DING DING......thats what I have been saying all along on this board. We are going to see a vast improvement in the entertainment offerings at the park this year. Not to the extent it use to be way back when.....but at least theres going to be 5 shows at the park this year instead of just 2. I've always wondered this, but are theme park casts/crews usually Equity members? It depends what park. Kings Island and most regional/seasonal theme parks the answer would be no. But Disney performers do earn equity points. I wonder if they might use the Enchanted Theater for the show. No, they wont. Not since the Circus haunted house was moved there and is still up. PKIVortex
They use to take it out of the Festhaus when not in use, why can't they take it out of the Enchanted Theater so they could use it for an actual Theater. I know the Nick Theater is out of the question since they removed the stage and the benches for the meet and greet area.
Shman
I know the Nick Theater is out of the question since they removed the stage and the benches for the meet and greet area. Are you sure it's out of question ;-) They use to take it out of the Festhaus when not in use And that is just one of the many reasons why they moved it this year, so that they wouldnt have to take it down. And you can thank Cedar Fair for that one.....they do that with a lot of their halloween stuff. It's too bad to......Enchanted Theatre was a nice childrens theatre in its day. CoastersRZ
Well, the stage and lights are still present in the Enchanted Theater space. Now if only we could get the "Kings of Komedy" back. That is what the park officially called the Kings Island Clown Band.

All you need is a couple of chairs and you'll be set, sir. By the way, a birdie told me that if you like what you've seen announced at other frmr Paramount Parks entertainment, you may just be pretty happy with Kings Island has in store for you. This is going to be one hell of a season, Ryan

Cory Butcher
I dunno, but man am I psyched! Roller Coasters only go so far, I really do enjoy some crowd pumping vocal and physical performances when I am at the park. I liked School of Rock alot, problem was...it was the only show
