mutedarkness
With other park improvments will the park get turnstyles for all its rides like other Cedar Fair parks?
Cory Butcher
I personally have not heard of such improvements, and I am working a ride. So, I honestly don't know, I dont think we are.

Snake Attack!
I really doubt that this would be necessairy because the park has been doing without them for a couple years now...also turnstyles seem kindof like an un-necessary luxury to a chain that doesn't have a large amount of extra money to spend. CoastersRZ
Yes, it can. And to my knowledge, Kings Island utilizes hand counters on most of the flat rides to keep track of attendance figures for the individual rides. For the coaster, it is incorporated into the control panels, I believe, with the driver keeping track of how many empty seats there are on each train that is dispatched. flightoffear1996
I would much rather have it the way Coasterz said because it keeps them out of the pathway. I really hate going threw those things.
Cory Butcher
You are not alone in that thinking. Many larger individuals have trouble with them, I know for myself Im short and athletic built but I go through and the bar that turns whips me in the butt, I can only imagine what it is like for someone whos rear, sticks out the back a little more than mine
SOB_TOM
Some flat rides still have turnstyles. Train, Troika, and Dodgems are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.
CoastersRZ
I believe that they have removed the turnstyles from the exit of Shake, Rattle and Roll and gone to hand counters instead.
