Reality15
Ok guys, I need a quick answer to some of my questions here, as I'm going to be at the park for my first time tomorrow. Here's what I'd like to know: 1. How much does a shirt cost? 2a. Does the park sell patches? 2b. If yes, how much do they cost? 3. What other enthusiast-liking souvenirs are there and how much do they cost? 4. Are there on-ride photos on any rides and how much do they cost? 5. Is it possible to ride every ride and slide (including most kiddie rides) in two days? 6. Any information about the ACE walkback is a great help. Thanks guys, I'll check back around 6:00 EST and see if there's any answers.
BoddaH1994
1. I'd say $20 and up for an adult size shirt. 2. Yes, top of my head guess would be between $5-$7 3. They have a metal replica of the Eiffel Tower which is $13, I think. 4. Vortex, Beast, SOB, Flight of Fear, Top Hat's Taxi Jam, Wild Thornberry's, Beastie (maybe even a few more) have ORPs, expect to dish out at least $10, but they had different packages including keychains, 8x10s, etc. 5. It matter which days you go. If you're going in the middle of the week, it would be possible to hit a good percentage of the park before 5:00, but if you go on a weekend, if you go all day, you may only ride 10 things. I'd say with a best case scenario, yes, you could at least ride everything that appealed to you. 6. You meet at the ACE block on International St. around 9:30AM. When you enter the park, you'll see three flags (America, Ohio, PKI) to the right. The ACE block is at the base of them. When you go there, a memeber from PKI's PR will come and walk you to The Beast. It's kind of neat because that's one of your only opportunities to see Oscar's (the employee eatery)! I hope this helps, I encourage you to ask as many questions as you need to. Regards Ryan
KIBeast
I love the on-ride photos. I have a collection going. I need one of The Beast to complete what I want(have one of The Beast, but with an ex-gf in it. Will never do that again). Middle of the week is a great idea. I went on aThursday last year and got there at 10a. I had rode every major coaster by noon. And, to top off the day, I got in about 16-18 roller coaster laps for the day. Pretty good by my standards. All the advice and info Boddah gave is right on the money.
Reality15
7. Magnets of the park's logo, and how much do they cost? 8. Nightly laser/fireworks show? 9. Average waits for the coasters? 10. Any non-coaster "do not miss" rides?
PKIDelirium
Magnets, yes. in the Emporium shop on international street. 2-3 bucks. although i havwe only seen ride picture/logo magnets . Fireworks: yes, and they are pretty good! they occur every night, at park closing, on all nights when the park closes at 10PM or later. Average coaster waits, I'd say 30 minutes or less, for best lines, go to River town first, ride Beast and Tomb Raider, then go through the park counte-clockwise. no-miss? The Beast, Flight of Fear. BoddaH1994
They are the Flying Eagles. If you go there for the last hour of the night, you'll undoubtedly see PKIC people there if you are interested. Do not miss: Delirium, Tomb Raider, White Water Canyon... If you hit Crocodile Dundee's Boomerang Bay, make sure you try out our new Coolangatta Racers as well as Tasmanian Typhoon!
