Captain Nemo Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 They were infact taking some video in the park. Ryan and I were in the park on Sunday and noticed a video crew recording from inside queue area. I would guess they are making a Cedar Fairish type video for the ride, or they are doing something doing research. Quote
The Interpreter Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 Uhh..... I'd think it more likely that Flight of Fear is getting an on-ride video system like Top Gun has at Carowinds. Ride the ride, buy the DVD, featuring....YOU! Quote
mutedarkness Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 opening day they were in the bowl filming Quote
DropZone99 Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 ,, thatll be awesome. i am definatley getting a video. =] Quote
Jasper Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 I cant wait to see myself riding Flight of Fear. I would have rather seen myself in the act of flight though if ya know what i mean. Quote
DropZone99 Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 oh, the video is for Flight of Fear. well still, i cant wait. =] Quote
Captain Picard Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 I bought the DVD of Sheikra. It's ok but only has about 10 seconds of the 5 minute DVD with you in it. Full price is around 30 dollars. I can't remember but I think if you have a fun pass and buy it with the on ride photo it's around 14 dollars. There posted all over youtube Quote
Reclaimer Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 So half the video is taken up by text and a poor animation of a bird flying while the other half that contains the actual ride only shows a couple quick glances at the actual train. Great value. In all honesty, I've still got my hopes up. I've seen the Carowinds Top Gun DVD and it doesn't seem too bad. Quote
PKIVortex Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 But I'm sure it will be way over priced. They they are $30 dollars no thanks. Quote
Knoxville Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 I wonder if they are going to change the lighting inside or possibly put in night vision cameras. Quote
