May 12, 200719 yr Mine would be (a tie). The Beast ride from 2am till about 4 am non stop: the Log flume at Knotts berry farm any time its incredible! I love their flume! Def not the 5 rating they gave it, haha.
May 12, 200719 yr These polls are the ones I like... they make me really think! I would have to say the Tower, that way I could refect on all the rides.
May 20, 200719 yr Delirium at night High five for that. I agree but I would love to ride The Beast as my last time also. I can't imagine riding that in the front seat at night like you guys said..I plan on doing that this summer.
May 20, 200719 yr I love The Beast alot, but it seems that ALMOST everyone's favorite ride is The Beast, it's okay if it really is im just saying that some of the people are just saying it is. I don't know though.
May 21, 200719 yr mine would be extreme flyers, if i didn't have any spare cash it would be The Beast
May 21, 200719 yr NOOOO doubt it has to be Vortex!!!! Loops, upside down, drops is there anything this ride does not have??? Come on Vortex!!!!
June 5, 200719 yr Face/Off, at night. The first time I rode it it was at night, and no ride since has compared. deb
June 6, 200719 yr Preferably one that lasts about, say, forty years! More seriously, of what is there now, Flight of Fear. Front seat, either side. Or back seat, either side. I'm not all that picky. Of any ride ever at Kings Island? The Flying Eagles. On a non-windy day please.....and a nice long cycle! Ok was Flying Eagles really THAT good? Ive seen people post that they drives all the way to Kings Dominion just to ride it, other people have said that they need to replace IJST with Flying Eagles. Makes it seem like it was the best ride in the world, what was so great about it? Granted I never rode it but it looks the same as any other flat ride
June 10, 200719 yr I would say, the backward Racer. In the early 80's at night time you could see all of the park lit up. Meanwhile receiving great hangtime because there were no seatbelts or any of that stuff. Just that high lap bar that allowed your bum to leave the seat OFTEN! Those were just good times

Makes it seem like it was the best ride in the world, what was so great about it? Granted I never rode it but it looks the same as any other flat ride I can't imagine driving to Kings Dominion just to ride their Flying Scooters or to Camden Park in Huntington, WV or to Indiana Beach in Monticello, IN, or to Holiday World in Santa Claus, IN. I CAN imagine changing my season pass to Carowinds and going there more often JUST to ride the Flying Eagles, or to Knoebel's Grove. As for Stricker's Grove's set, I am borderline enthusiastic about those. If one can fly the scooters unfettered, a magical, nearly mystical experience results. I actually go into a zone of happiness as I snap away (a privilege that was not allowed when I was a boy, and one that I am still amazed that Kings Island and Carowinds have extended). I am not a fan of the modern versions of the Flying Scooters. The ride is comparatively leaden, but it looks the same. It isn't. Appearances can be deceiving. A Traver Circle Swing looks like it does nothing, too. By all accounts, nothing could be further from the truth. Deno's WonderWheel also looks like it does very little (or the Sun Wheel at California's Adventure). Many are terrified of the ride action on the swinging seats: http://www.wonderwheel.com/
