May 20, 200719 yr Hello, A friend of mine purchased a season pass for King's Island for me. I have never had a season pass before, and I was not there when he ordered it. It gave him the option of "registering" me as he was ordering it. He said he did all of that and he gave them my email address. He recommended I check my email and see if I received any sort of confirmation. I did not. I fear he put in the wrong email address (and perhaps he put in other stuff incorrectly as well). For one, do you usually receive an email confirmation? And two, if you do, is any action usually required to verify the information? He purchased the tickets today and printed them off. I figure I need to have it proceessed. We are actually going tomorrow, so I'm a little worried that my ticket and, thus, my season pass are somehow invalid. The eTicket says that it can be used once for entrance into the park and then becomes void. I assume that, if I used it tomorrow as a regular ticket, I would still be able to receive my Season Pass card? Also, how long does it usually take to process season passes? I'm hoping to get it done tomorrow, even if I have to come back out sometime during the day to do it. Thanks!
May 20, 200719 yr No worries, as long as he printed out the e-pass then you are fine, the one time admission thing is just incase you dont want to stand in line if it is long to get your pass made, besides the line getting your pass only takes a few minutes.
May 20, 200719 yr I would wait inline when you first get there, if you go into the park and loose or get it wet you have problems....
May 21, 200719 yr Also, don't forget that if you choose to use the temporary pass to scan in it makes the pass valid only THAT DAY. So make sure you have it processed the same day you go, no matter what.
May 21, 200719 yr I printed off a e-ticket to and when i got to the park the line was really long so i tookit into the park and rode rides all day and then got it processed at the ends and it worked just fine. The only thing i dont like about this years is that they do not have your photo on them like they have had in past years. Just another change Cedar Fair is making i guess.
May 21, 200719 yr That actually wasn`t a change instituted by Cedar Fair. That process had begun under CBS. When your pass is scanned (both at the parking tolls and at the gates), your picture will appear in the monitor, and the associate has to then verify that you are in fact the person that is shown on the monitor.
May 21, 200719 yr Yup, and Cedar Point passes have your picture on them! --The Interpeter, who knows these things, somehow or other...
May 21, 200719 yr Las year they did not have pics on them either, unless you bought yours for 2006 in the fall of 2005 and who cares if it has your pic on it or not, sheesh people are never pleased it seems.
May 22, 200719 yr Author Everything worked out very well. I went over and processed immediately upon arrival. It literally took about five minutes, even though the line looked rather long. Thanks for the information!
