The Interpreter
A hamburger AND fries for six dollars? Seriously? Where? At the Cedar Fair parks I have visited this year, that'd set you back at least eight. An order of fries alone at Kings Island is $3.50. True I was trying to be nice (I havnt actually gone yet so I was kind of giving a low estimate). And I HATE the prices at KI I love LaRossa's Pizza and I cant get it here but I dont wanna spend $20 on one either.
FOFirehawkFAN
Ok went to GL today and honestly it was just sad to see how lifeless the park was. Every roller coaster we rode, didnt even have a full train. Heck me and my brother were the ONLY ones on head spin! Not only was it sad to see no one there but also the old water park area looks just so horrible you would think they could just drive a bulldozer over it. Also I thought I had heard talk of re-painting headspin, the color of it is even differnt on the map than in years past but it was still that ugly faded blue. padfoot714
That sounds similar to my experience there last year. X-Flight (now our beloved Firehawk) was a walk-on all day long. The only crowded part of that park is Wildwater Kingdom. No one is in the dry park.

Kennywooddude
The ride side gets a decent crowd in the evening when the temp starts to go down and the waterpark closes. It's nothing new. Ride Side in the morning, Waterpark in the afternoon then back to the ride side in the evening for an hour or two.
padfoot714
We were at the park from open to about 6pm. We were in the water park from about 1-3pm
mutedarkness
seems to be the trend.
Gordon Bombay
What is the trend? Less guests each year....so CF responds by raising prices and putting less into the park?

mutedarkness
Actually, we had more guests last year with a 8 week shorter season. Trend is... ride rides till water park opens, go to water park, then go ride rides.
