CP Loose Article Policy

Featured Replies

Ok, so I have only been to CP once and that was last year in July. I really enjoyed the park and had a good time. As some of you know, I really like to shoot pictures and thats what im going to college for. To celebreate graduation myself and some friends are going up to CP tommorow and tuesday. Last year I carried my camera with me all the time and when we rode TTD or MF or another ride requiring us not to bring on loose articles I just paid the locker price, I dont remember it being too bad but it was annoying having to switch all the time. My question is, how much are locker prices this year and dos ome rides like magnum still have bins to leave your stuff in? I have a larger and better camera this year and Im debating whether or not to carry it around or just enjoy the park.

I'm pretty sure most rides including Magnum have bins in the station. MF and TTD don't because of the separate load/unload stations, but to my knowledge most other major rides do.

MF and TTD do not have the bins because of the double station, and Thunder Canyon doesn't either because of the rotation loading platform. I'm not sure about the other water ride, Snake River Falls, since I don't ride it much at all. The two major flat rides, Skyhawk and maXair, both have the bins, as do all other coasters. I'm not sure about Disaster Transport or Iron Dragon - I believe you are required to carry all loose articles onto the ride with you. But it shouldn't be too much of a hassle for those two since you probably won't lose anything very large on them if you are careful. Maverick does have article bins, so you should be fine on that one.

Awesome, thanks for the help guys! Unfortuanently it looks like rain all day tommorow, and most of the day tommorow, so unless that clears up than I probably wont be shooting any pictures. Thanks again for the help.

When I go up there, I just bring my Cannon PowerShot A540 along with a Cannon Elura 100 camroder. And I bring a fanny pack to put those things in, don't have any problems with them. Just like what was said above MF and TTD doesn't allow any loose article, from the split load and unload platform's.

I don't know what the policy is exactly, but when I rode MF and TTD I had a small camera in a bag that I slung over my shoulder and under my other arm. It rested at my side, the ride ops never said anything to me.
